Villa vacation rentals in Sasso Marconi

Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

I have so much positive to say about this place! Despite what some reviews mention about the drive, it's absolutely worth it. There's a small restaurant just 2-3 minutes away, easy access to the city, and you're only about an hour from Pisa and some beaches. The house was perfect—everything well thought out and worth every penny. The pool was amazing, and the host was very responsive. If you're visiting in autumn or spring, bring warm clothes for the chilly evenings. We were sad to leave, and I can't wait to come back to this dreamy property!

Villa Poggiostelle was an incredible house in the hills above Florence. It was a peaceful escape that is very private with incredible views. The house is so well set up - our children loved the badminton, soccer ball and table tennis set up as well as the incredible gym. The pool was gorgeous with wonderful views over the hills and valleys near Calenzano. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated each with their own bathrooms with modern fixtures. The villa itself is about 25 minutes to a train station where we caught a train into Florence, 15 minutes to a nearby supermarket. It was easily accessible to all the highways and autostrade to explore Tuscany. A car is essential staying here though as it is a very hilly area in a secluded spot. Tatiana was a wonderful host who made our stay comfortable. She was always available to answer questions and even delivered a delicious surprise package of pastries one morning.

An absolutely amazing villa with genuinely beautiful hosts! From the magnificent views outside to the luxurious toiletries and bed linen. Space a plenty, inside and out, and room to spare. Books galore. A delicious welcome pack of bread, cheese, salami, olive oil and wine. We had the added bonus of the giro d’italia being in town! Leonardo provided the beer, the chips, seating, company and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the cyclists and their accompanying entourages!!! Quiet area, short walk to Barga, small medieval town, with buckets of character. Plenty of gorgeous restaurants to choose from, though you’ll get everything you need in local supermarket for a great dinner in the villa. Well supplied kitchen and though we didn’t get the chance, plenty of opportunity to cook al fresco. Pool is great, clean and very welcome in full sun. The villa is gorgeous scenic experience with views of the Tuscan hills. We came in Winter so we couldn’t use the lovely pool but enjoyed a wine tasting just up the street at Tenuta Maria Teresa. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and we loved congregating in the living room to play games. We cooked meals in the kitchen and had what we needed. It was very private and tranquil location 12 minutes from Lucca. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and worked with us easily on check in and out times even letting us arrive early. It is typical in Italy to pay for heat consumption, came out to 226 euro for three days even when turning it low when gone for the day so just something to keep in mind as it is a large villa. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommend the location. We’d come back.

Elena's house is beautiful, the design is much better than it looks in the pictures, it's very spacious, with everything you need! the outdoor space, the garden and swimming pool are really great! we had great time!

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Pool was great. Perfect for a large family. Owners were very helpful and available when needed. Rooms were hot overnight but this is expected in peak summer in Italy.

We were a group of 32 with young to older childern. What a wonderfull stay. The Hostess was very friendly and helpful. She was always reachable and was always ready to help with questions or recommendations, writing often about interesting events, markets and towns to visit. She also gifted us 2 Evening meals which were both very tasty. The House was amazing, had everything we needed, was clean and had a lot of space. One could see that a lot of love and thought went into this house. The Location is beautiful, in a very small town in the hills of Toscany, 10 min from Pratovecchio which has a large grocery, petrolstation and smaller cafès. If you want to relax, enjoy the food, wine and countryside Toscany has to offer, this is the place for you. There is really nothing negative we can say about our stay there. The House and Hostess were amazing.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Christina was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make our stay the best. She made great recommendations and even made reservations for dinner for us our first night. There was an issue with one of the small kitchen appliances not working and she immediately delivered a replacement. She promptly answered all questions and truly cared that our stay was the best it could be.

Gorgeous rustic villa in the Tuscan Hills. Very useful that accommodation is across two houses and that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Pool was lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing I would add is a sofa to slouch on for rainy nights or after walking the beautiful cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa. Great laundry for long stay guests. Brenda was very responsive and accommodating.

The house and hosts were fabulous, they were super friendly and helpful. The house felt like a real home with everything you could wish for. My husband had the time of his life with the outdoor kitchen and the pool was a lovely place to enjoy the sun. The beds were very comfortable, great water pressure in the showers. We had our Labrador with us who had the time of her life there exploring the area. The wine bar next to the windmill is a must. For a large get together for family or friends I couldn’t recommend it enough and we hope to return next year with our extended family.

The property are spectacular, with all the amenities, Anna is an excellent host, courteous, friendly and willing to help, we loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a place we recommend 100% and if we return to Italy we would love to stay there again. It's close to Florence and other cities in Tuscany. There are supermarkets 3 minutes from the property, as well as restaurants and everything you need for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

if someone is looking for a quiet and beautiful place, this is the place for you! We stayed at Villa sole mio for a week. The view is far-reaching and beautiful. The villas are a little remote meaning that you have to be mobile, but you get peace throughout the day. The location is ideally located geographically and you can reach Lucca,Pisa,Siena and Florence. You can also reach the sea within 45 minutes. Ideal to visit cities in the morning and enjoy the fantastic pool with the view in the afternoon. Our host, Martina was very friendly and always helpful. The employees who work on the property are also very friendly and keep the complex in good shape. What should be mentioned is the access road to the villa. You can only reach the villas by a narrow one-lane pebble path of about 400 m long. A sports car or a lowered vehicle is not recommended. I can only recommend Villa sole mio. Would go there again immediately.

We had a very nice vacation at Claudia's place. The house and pool are actually much nicer than the pictures show. There is enough space and the garden and pool are opaque. There is a dog who screams something in the evening, which has rather led to amusement with us. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was exactly as described and shown. Communication with Franco and his father went smoothly. The house may not be easy to find; we were picked up at a meeting point, which made many things easier. With large, bulky cars, the route was not easy to drive, but doable. The amenities were great, a small oven was available, it could have been a little bigger. In one bathroom, the shower and toilet are opposite each other and after the shower, half the bathroom is very wet. But it was no problem for us. The pool and grounds are wonderful! We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at Franco's and find that the price-performance ratio was right. We can recommend Franco's house in good conscience and hopefully have the opportunity to come back again!

We had a great week with friends at Villa Nicolai. The house is furnished in Tuscan style and has everything you need. The garden with pool was simply fantastic and was also a paradise for the two little ones to romp around. We also have two cribs and high chairs available. We would immediately go back to the villa and the hosts were also very friendly and reachable at all times and fulfilled all our wishes.

Wonderful stay at Villa Vittoria, surrounded by greenery at the gates of Lucca, a wonderful city. We really enjoyed the tennis court and gym area with hot tub, perfect for relaxing. We didn't use the soccer field and the pool, but the latter is really beautiful and well maintained. Maximum privacy and tranquility: ideal for unwinding. The villa is taken care of in detail and the outdoor spaces are spacious and quiet. A perfect place to rejuvenate, which we recommend without hesitation.

We highly recommend the house, agency and owners of the house! Our actual house was canceled 1 day before arrival and Elisa spontaneously made it possible for us to avoid this wonderful house. The house itself is very spacious, just like the property with the huge pool. There are also plenty of shaded places for the warm hours of the day. The property is fully fenced and equipped with an electric gate. There are many nice restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need nearby. The proximity to Lucca (12 min. by car) was also really great. You still have complete privacy in the house or surroundings.

A unique and special experience awaits you if you book to stay with Roberta and Georgio! Not only is the apartment spotless, charming and neat as a pin, but the are so many extras too. The local recommendations are excellent, and your hosts will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide you with everything you need (and more). Having a kitchen full of breakfast foods already stocked, made our stay with children so much easier. If you are looking for a holiday that is luxurious, culturally enriching and peaceful, then look no further. You will need a car to get here, but it's totally worth the trip. Couldn't have asked for more, and have never stayed anywhere better. Highly recommended.

Great stay in a lovely house. The house was super clean, coolly decorated and located in beautiful and quiet surroundings. There were many delicious restaurants in the area and a great starting point for going to a lot of delicious cities, the sea and nature. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We felt really welcome and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Highly recommend!
