Second Summer to stay at Wave on Wave! The pool and fishing dock are just what we are always excited about! Fishing was exceptionally well this year. Fast and friendly communication was given when needed. We cannot wait to return!

This home is perfectly located, right on ICWW, and steps from the ocean. It’s nice watching the barges and sunsets (absolutely beautiful) in the evenings, and having coffee and watching dolphins from the front deck in the mornings (though my kids said they’re actually porpoises). The boys enjoyed fishing off the pier, doing cannonballs in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, cookie sheets…. Fully stocked. I liked the location of this home being near the corkscrew bridge, it’s much easier and accesible to go to and from restaurants and shopping. Also, the front and back decks have a gate that will close and lock, so if you have a dog it’s really helpful. It’s a quiet area, not busy, near public beach…. Just a few folks fishing, relaxing, and birdwatching. Thank you Fuller Family for opening your lovely beach house.

Salty Dog was responsive to any and all questions and concerns that we had even before our arrival. Place was neat and clean, and we had a great time as a family by the pool making memories. There are lots of pool toys in the garage to choose from. Highly recommended, great location, and we will be back again.

My guests and I fell in love this this property with it's beautiful, quiet property and spacious and comfortable home. Both the property and home offer many amenities and opportunities to stay busy, explore, and engage with other guests or enjoy time alone reading, thinking, writing, or (I don't recommend this, but did it anyway) working. Last but not least, the 5-star customer service of Naun, Juan, and Alex was timely, friendly, and met or exceeded our needs. After two weeks at this casa bendita, we have decided we will stop our several years of exploring Texas through vacation rentals and make it our family's vacation spot. Thank you, Alex, for sharing your home with us. We are truly grateful.

Really enjoyed our stay, very nice house near the beach.

We very much enjoyed the stay. The house had plenty of room, the beach was outstanding, and we were all able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The outdoor shower made it so easy to rinse off after walking on the beach! We loved cooking on the deck, listening to the surf all day, and just relaxing. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

This was my family’s first time using Airbnb and Karen was so helpful through the process and answered any questions we had. We were in town for my grandma’s funeral and the location of the Airbnb allowed us to be closer to family and where things were taking place. The Airbnb is like described and shown in the pictures. We felt extremely safe in this neighborhood and the house was very clean. It felt like a home instead of a hotel. If we come back to Texas we would definitely come back to this Airbnb. I also just want to tell Karen again - thank you!

What a spacious and beautiful home! We had plenty of room to spread out, we slept comfortably, and had a great time fishing the river off the back pier. The view from the living room/kitchen was wonderful, and the home as a whole was cozy. Thank you for your hospitality!

The house was super clean and had everything you would need as far as amenities. Loved the fact there was NOT a thousand stairs to climb especially with coolers etc. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and family and they are great people, very caring to your needs. He even gave us some fresh fish tacos that a family member had caught.. Yum We found the beach is easiest if driving to it (about 3 min) to carry canopy, cooler etc. You need to purchase a beach sticker at the local store. $15 for a day or $30 for the year. For us, it was to far to walk to. There is a golf cart rental very convenient right next door which is great and the small business in not annoying with traffic or loud noises..Its nice and quiet place, love the blackout curtains. Best of all they provide a filtered water cooler so you don't have to drag bottled water!!! Fenced in yard was also a plus with dogs..Cold ac! Small charcoal grill (they provided charcoal and liter fluid). Queen bed was comfortable.

We had an amazing time at the beach house! Absolutely loved the location and how it was just steps away from the water! The house was clean, well maintained, and we had everything that we needed. Cheyenne was a great host and very accommodating! I requested an early as well as a late check out and she made that happen for us, which we truly appreciated! Would definitely book this property for our future beach staycations! 😊

The view from the balcony is the best. Very relaxing and the breeze coming in is perfect to sit out there and chat with company. Perfect layout of the home a lot of space and very nicely decorated. Home comes with everything you would need. Beach access is perfect just walk downstairs. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Don't hesitate. BOOK THIS HOME! AMAZING RELAXING FAMILY TIME!!! We had a group of 15 staying at this beautiful home for family vacation. Ages from 4 yrs to 59 yrs. There was someting for all of us to do on the days that we didn't go out. The separate guest house was a plus for my Husband and I. The younger children enjoyed that there was toys and games available. The house was very roomy. I want to say what was my favorite part of the house, but I can't. Everything was great. I love the kitchen and everything being available for cooking. I love being able to sit on the back patio area/porch and watch the family fish. I loved eating breakfast with the family at the dining table while at the same time enjoy the view of the water. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bath.👍🏾 🥰 We had to communicate a few times concerning some things and the host responses was quick. We definitely will be back. 10/10

Brought my family of 4 and two dogs here. Had a great time with a beautiful view and awesome fishing spot. Caught croaker, catfish, blue crabs and a black drum. House is very cute with nice quiet neighbors on both sides. Owner is very friendly and responsive but we didn’t need anything as she explained everything clearly in the beginning.

Steve is an amazing host. The house is clean, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Steve is attentive and makes sure guests feel at home, offering great local tips and recommendations. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach getaway, Steve’s place is the perfect spot! We’ll be back soon!

This home is a lovely place to stay on the pedestrian side of Surfside beach. It's very convenient to access the beach and a short walk from the jetty / park area. We really enjoyed our stay in this home and highly recommend this place to others. We have stayed in 5 different rentals in Surfside and this is the best one by far. One thing to note is that the back balcony overhead structure shown in the pictures is no longer in place on the property. I am not sure why but there is no overhead cover at all on the balcony. It did get a bit warm in the sun during the day but we just moved downstairs below the house where there was shade. All in all, this is a perfect location without the crowds of the vehicular access portion of Surfside beach. It is serene, peaceful, and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Amazing host and made my family and I feel at home. Was very accommodating to changes with our trip and was great with communication. I'm excited for our next stay.

My daughter and I enjoyed The Gem. We loved the home. The beach was very peaceful. We are hoping to make it an annual trip. My daughter and her friends enjoyed using the beach toys and board games. I was so happy I could bring my pups. This was the first vacation without my late husband and just my girl so having all the “extras” really helped me. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

Very awesome location! We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Rented a golf cart and was able to explore the entire area. The private access to the beach from room was amazing!

We stayed here a few years ago when the house was new, and we tried again last year but a hurricane came the week of our trip, unfortunately. I am happy we were able to come back this year. The house was just as perfect as the first trip when it was new. Danielle is very responsive and gave us all the information we needed to make it a great vacation and a hassle free trip again. The house is very clean and had everything that we needed.
