This house was a real refuge in the middle of nature, with the sounds of monkeys and frogs at night! The location was perfect, as a stop to go to the Caribbean beaches and tourist attractions. It was surrounded by trees and had a peaceful atmosphere. The house was clean, with all the details I needed to feel at home. I had a great communication with the host, always willing to help and answer my questions. I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay. I definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy place to rest!

We enjoyed this house so much the view and the pool were amazing. We stayed with our granddaughter and she swam in the pool for hours! Our daughter was attending a biology field study in Chilamate so the location was perfect but we didn’t know that we would also love this little town so much! We went white water rafting and it was a blast! We also learned about Chocolate production and many of the local flora and fauna from a couple of excellent local guides! The pool was a dream, we swam everyday multiple times and it was so refreshing and fun. The loft bedroom with a complete wall of sliding glass doors was perfect for watching the birds at sunrise and didn’t even have to get out of bed. We loved the indoor/outdoor living of this house and the property was full of so many different fruit trees. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Chilamate!

We had an exceptional two-night stay with family (with my wife and three daughters). This is probably one of our best Airbnb experiences! The place, a little off the beaten track, is a real gem. We discover magnificent nature: a lush forest, a beautiful waterfall, superb animals and very good restaurants nearby. The location is also ideal for those who want to reach Tortuguero or Cahuita easily. Meals and breakfast are excellent, made with care and taste. A real plus! A huge thank you to Laura, who is an extremely attentive, warm and available host. It was a real pleasure. We recommend this place without a second thought!
