We loved it, super close to downtown. Everything was tidy and clean. We would come back and stay here. The host and neighbors were very kind.

My stay was excellent. Everything was very clean, the location is ideal and safe, with easy access to everything. The neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for rest. Communication with the host was always quick and clear. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Guiselle's house is very comfortable, fully equipped and extremely clean. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the location is quiet and safe. We had an exceptional two-night stay with family (with my wife and three daughters). This is probably one of our best Airbnb experiences! The place, a little off the beaten track, is a real gem. We discover magnificent nature: a lush forest, a beautiful waterfall, superb animals and very good restaurants nearby. The location is also ideal for those who want to reach Tortuguero or Cahuita easily. Meals and breakfast are excellent, made with care and taste. A real plus! A huge thank you to Laura, who is an extremely attentive, warm and available host. It was a real pleasure. We recommend this place without a second thought!

A well-appointed cottage. The kitchen has everything for self-catering. Two bedrooms are a plus. It was difficult to locate thanks to G@@gle Maps and Waze errors. I would not want to be looking for it in the dark. Jorge got us there. Peaceful rural location, close enough to town for provisions. I missed the fact that there was no hot water so we used the kettle when we needed some. Not a big problem. The shower head looks like it might heat water but we didn’t try it. I would stay there again.

100% Recommended! A simple but very cozy little house, better than what you see in the photos. With lovely decor and all impeccably clean. It has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The best is the natural environment, large green area around ideal to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Just 5 minutes away is the village, with several shops, and 15 minutes away you can visit beautiful pozas on the San Jose River. In addition, its location is excellent, as it is less than an hour and a half from San Jose, with very easy access. The host was very nice and always responded quickly, which is key to a good experience. All in all, a perfect option to connect with nature without going too far from comfort.

Excellent place I really liked it, she is very friendly. I recommend it to get away and get out of the routine.

We enjoyed this house so much the view and the pool were amazing. We stayed with our granddaughter and she swam in the pool for hours! Our daughter was attending a biology field study in Chilamate so the location was perfect but we didn’t know that we would also love this little town so much! We went white water rafting and it was a blast! We also learned about Chocolate production and many of the local flora and fauna from a couple of excellent local guides! The pool was a dream, we swam everyday multiple times and it was so refreshing and fun. The loft bedroom with a complete wall of sliding glass doors was perfect for watching the birds at sunrise and didn’t even have to get out of bed. We loved the indoor/outdoor living of this house and the property was full of so many different fruit trees. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Chilamate!

We really had a great time, the place is so beautiful that we didn't want to leave, we'll definitely be back soon.

This was one of the most beautifull Airbnb I ever had! If you want to get in touch with nature (and yourself), you should go here. The river next to it is awesome to take a swim. We couldnt do the vanille tour, but I think its awesome that Werner opens his farm up for this! I would recommend staying longer than one night, to enjoy the place even more. Its clean, we loved it and would come back 100%. The outside shower was awesome!! We had a 4x4 and I think its easier with a car like that if you come by yourself. If you have a 4x4 you will like to arrive by day. Once you've driven it, you can easily drive it in the dark ;)

Staff is friendly and help full. Clean and quiet area despite main road a few meters away. Convenient location if you have a car. Can be difficult to access entrance when there is traffic because of the one lane bridge. I stayed in July so there were a lot of bugs in the porch area, sometimes they come in if the door is not closed fast enough, but it's part of the CR nature. Bug spray helped keep them at bay.

The place is comfortable, accessible, and excellent communication with the owner.
