Vacation rentals with a fireplace in São Miguel Island

Casa completa, amplia y limpia. Camas cómodas, y el exterior muy agradable. Está céntrica pero es muy tranquila. El coche lo puedes dejar a la puerta y puedes ir andando a comprar,. Nos encantó el detalle a nuestra llegada.

The home is located on a beautiful property and the ocean pool was a magical experience. The home was well-equipped and Miguel left a nice welcome basket.

Quaint, quiet bliss. Gorgeous surroundings and surrounded by unbelievable birdsong. Sunrise over the ocean. We cooked in the kitchen every night and could have spent days retreating here without leaving the house! Not to mention proximity to so many beautiful outlooks, pools, and waterfalls. If you are looking for a peaceful nostalgic getaway, look no further! They have a variety of cottages so we would love to come back one day and bring our families.

My family and I stayed for a week, they left and then friends joined me for a week - so 2 weeks in all. The pool was cool (it was january) but some did try. The hot tub was fabulous and was enjoyed by everyone. The house is spacious and perfectly clean and tidy with good supplies. The owners and the cleaning service were very helpful and responsive to any messages which was appreciated. The island is wonderful and we loved everywhere we visited.

We had a perfect stay in Vitor's beautiful and spacious house. It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Vitor is a wonderful host. Since our flight had a delay we arrived quite late and even got some food from Vitor. It was a great experience and we can fully recommend Vitor's house.

I can't praise this property enough! It's a 5th generation home full of beautiful antiques yet with all the modern amenities. We had tons of space for 4 of us with large bedrooms and bathrooms. It was so nice to hang out by the fireplace in the cozy livingroom - especially on a rainy February night. The property is huge! The gardens are stunning and attended to daily by the loveliest man who doesn't speak a word of English but was a good sport trying to communicate with us - he even brought us fresh oranges one morning! The location is excellent - easy walking distance to several great restaurants, shops, the caldeiras and Parque Terra Nostra. It did take us a couple times around the loop to figure out which house it was - Apple maps was less accurate than Google! But once we found it, we knew we were in heaven! Picking up the keys in Ponta Delgada was easy and communication with the hosts was exceptional. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Absolutely stunning views !!! We also loved the walk to the tide pools. We stayed for a week with our four year old and parents, we had everything we needed. Antonio is so friendly and helpful, if we ever get to come back to Sao Miguel, we will stay here again ❤️❤️ Thank you for a wonderful time !!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Ana. L'endroit est tout simplement parfait, les fleurs sur le terrain sont magnifiques, le logement était propre et spacieux et la piscine très bien entretenue. C'est aussi très calme le soir pour dormir. Et parfaitement situé sur l'île pour aller autant à l'Est que à l'Ouest. Je recommande l'endroit et j'espère y retourner un jour!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour chez João qui était un hôte très à l’écoute et proactif pour s’assurer que notre séjour soit confortable et sans accroc. L’appartement avait une vue splendide sur l’océan et vient avec le nécessaire pour passé un bon moment. La vue sur les bateaux dans l’océan ainsi que les avions qui atterrissaient permettait d’occuper notre enfant pendant que nous cuisinions. Il nous a été facile d’aller au centre-ville à pied et profiter de ce que la ville avait à offrir. Le stationnement sur la rue était très facile et le marché qui est à côté offrait tout le nécessaire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez João et nous y retournerions encore.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

Pierre's place is located in a serene and beautiful location, very quiet. It was a bit hard to find (should have exited Nordeste to the south and only then turn right). Pierre is welcoming and helpful. Car is a must to reach other places on the island.

Marion est une hôte formidable, gentille, généreuse et toujours disponible. Le logement était, en fait, encore plus beau que sur les photos. Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite à l'aise. Très propre et confortable, grande cour superbe et très pratique pour laisser jouer les enfants. Légèrement en retrait de la ville, nous avons adoré pour la tranquillité et la vue magnifique! Idéalement situé pour visiter tous les recoins de l'île. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Antonio was a fabulous host. When we checked in, he had already stocked the kitchen with local specialties - which were delicious. His family’s home is expansive and beautiful. The garden is particularly exquisite. The location is a little outside Capelas which was a good jump off point for the East side of the island and getting into Ponta Delgada. We recommend Antonio’s for your visit to the Azores

Este apartamento en Ponta Delgada es una excelente elección para un grupo de seis. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado, con todas las comodidades necesarias. La chica que nos hizo el check-in fue muy amable y simpatica. La ubicación es un punto realmente destacable, ya que esta centrico para poder visitar diferentes zonas de la isla, lo que facilitó mucho nuestras excursiones diarias. Recomendable 100%!!!

5 stelle perché di più non si può mettere, i nostri giorni nell'appartamento 2 della SLOPE HOUSE sono stati bellissimi, l'appartamento ha una grande finestra e terrazza sull'oceano, la casa è ben arredata e ha tutti i confort. Anche la camera si affaccia su una via tranquilla di Lagoa ed è molto carina. Abbiamo trovato sempre parcheggio gratuito sotto casa e la posizione è comoda per visitare tutta l'isola. L'host José è gentilissimo, ci ha dato tantissimi consigli per il nostro viaggio, è stato sempre disponibile rispondere e accontentare ogni nostra necessità. Assolutamente consigliato, se dovessimo tornare a sao miguel non abbiamo dubbi su dove dormire. :)

Host was very responsive. The place was beautiful and clean with high end fixtures. Plenty of linens and fully stocked cookware. It was just like being at your own home. The location was very convenient and quiet. I would definitely recommend this spot!

We had such a lovely family vacation staying in Maria's place! It was well suited for 7 adults with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The host is very easy to contact and good follow up on any questions that we had during our stay. Check in and check out were also very easy. We loved lounging on the terrace and walking along the shore. We enjoyed many breakfasts together in her well equipped kitchen before venturing out and exploring for the day. Coming home at night, we looked forward to building a cozy fire in the living room while sharing our favorite memories from the day. If returning to Sao Miguel, we'd love to stay at Maria's place again! Obrigada!

Very nice place, from comfy beds to a beautiful living room, we really enjoyed staying in the house! BBQ pit was a great addition - used it almost every night. And it's sooooo quiet! Will be back again!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Raul's magical home in Furnas! Waking up each morning to those incredible views was enough for a 5-star rating...you could easily spend a week relaxing on the property itself. Add in the fact that it's easy walking distance to some of the best hot springs in Furnas (plus convenient for visiting other parts of the island by car) and you have a recipe for the perfect trip. Raul was a lovely host, so friendly and highly responsive. We would love to go back!

I would definitely recommend Villa Nikau - it's a great place to stay, if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Azores. Ana was a lovely host, the communication was clear, easy and friendly. I would certainly try to book the place again during my next visit to the islands.

Patricia est une hôte exceptionnelle en tout point. Elle est super agréable, répond vite, est généreuse de sa présence. Tout était parfait et correspondait à la description sur Internet. En fait, les photos ne rendent même pas justice à la beauté du lieu. Le lit est super confortable, les pièces sont grandes et accueillantes, en plus d’être « vachement » bien décorées - vous comprendrez quand vous y serez… En plus d’être tranquille, ce lieu est à proximité des lagunes de Sete Cidades, et de piscines naturelles. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

A casa é óptima, extremamente limpa, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia muito confortável. A vista é lindíssima com um enorme espaço exterior. Os anfitriões são muito cuidadosos e simpáticos e responderam sempre prontamente a todas as nossas questões. Ainda tiveram o cuidado de deixar toalhas de banho e uma manta adequadas para bebé e ofereceram produtos alimentares da região. Recomendamos vivamente a casa do Pedro e voltaremos se possível!

Magnolia Residence is conveniently located in Pico da Pedra, with easy access to north and south coasts of the island. It is in a quite residential neighborhood, which makes it a perfect home away from home. João is a gracious host, super responsive and checked in on us a few times during our stay, including warning us about the weather. The layout of the house is ideal for family or groups, where everyone can get their own room, bathroom and privacy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a restful, spacious, and well equipped sanctuary on the island!
