Monthly Rentals in São Martinho de Sardoura

We had an incredibly great time at José's house! We felt like at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked delicious things, did great little hikes in the area and Porto is also not far for a day trip! We would absolutely recommend the place. Especially if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.

I stayed in the property with my girlfriend for a week. The journey was a bit treacherous, which was mostly due to the initially very bad weather, but the way to Airbnb is very narrow. Fortunately, we had a small car, which is why it worked. Check-in worked out very well and we came to our place flexibly. Very cute and cozy furnishings, we felt right at home. The view is beautiful. There were difficulties with the jacuzzi, whereupon the hosts met us promptly and kindly to solve the problem. Finally, it was a very nice stay!

We loved our stay here. The house has three levels the entry level has two bedrooms and baths, the next level two more bedrooms and a bath, and the lower level the kitchen and living area, as well as access to the patio. We were traveling with friends and the various levels of the house allowed us space, while the lower level provided a cozy gathering spot for enjoying our time together. We loved the character of the place and incredible views of the Duoro River. The location also worked well for our explorations of the Duoro Valley. When we were there were some heavy storms, since the lower level is built into the stone there was some weeping of the walls, but it didn’t impact our ability to just enjoy the space. Despite the rain, we loved waking up and going out to the patio to enjoy the views. Fresh oranges from the garden offered us wonderful homemade juice. Definitely a place we would recommend to friends or family.
