Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Santo Domingo

I chose Monte Horeb to celebrate my wife’s birthday; it was an amazing and unbelievable stay for all of our family! I am still being thanked for it 🤣. The fact that it’s not far from the city (Santo Domingo) makes it a great spot for vacationing. The Mountain View is out of this world! The house has a pine Forrest, a big jacuzzi, tons of green space for kids to run around and play. The peace and tranquility that you feel there makes you want to stay more days! David was super responsive and his on-site staff is the best!! Will definitely be coming back!

Jose is great host and also hooked us up with a driver that was at our disposal 24/7 (seperate price but worth it if it's your first time). place is great for a large group and very private and secure. Some of the rooms are very large and spacious. kitchen was good enough to cook a large meal for everyone. Location is a ways out from the city but with a driver that wasn't a problem. Checked in daily to see if we needed toiletries and clean towels. Great place to lounge around all day. Pool was clean and had a loud bluetooth speaker so we can "party". shout out to Daniel, our driver, who took real good care of us and showed us all the tips and tricks. would definitely recommend for that guys trip. wifi can use some upgrades but it wasn't a huge issue when you're having fun. no regrets.

Just got back from staying here and I'm so glad we picked this spot. First thing that hit me was how safe the area felt - I could actually relax and not worry about the location, which is huge for me when traveling. The apartment was gorgeous! Everything was so clean and you could tell the owner really takes care of the place. It felt like staying in someone's well-loved home rather than just another rental. Oh, and can I just say how much I appreciated having that water dispenser there? Such a simple thing but it saved us so many trips to buy water. The host clearly thinks about what guests actually need. Honestly, this was one of those stays where everything just worked perfectly. I'd book this place again in a heartbeat and I'm already recommending it to friends planning trips to Santo Domingo.

Una experiencia maravillosa! Las fotos no le hacen justicia a lo hermosa que es esta propiedad. Está rodeada de flores preciosas y se respira una paz y una energía muy especial. Mi familia y yo pasamos una Semana Santa 2025 increíble en la villa de Ysai. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio, bien organizado y decorado con mucho cariño. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para descansar y disfrutar en familia. La cocina está completamente equipada con todos los utensilios necesarios, no nos hizo falta nada. Las habitaciones eran cómodas y acogedoras, con sábanas y toallas muy suaves. Los baños estaban limpios y contaban con todo lo necesario. Samuel fue muy amable y siempre estuvo disponible para ayudarnos con cualquier cosa. La comunicación con Ysai fue excelente: rápida, clara y siempre atenta a nuestras necesidades. Sin duda, ¡volveríamos! Recomendado 100%.

I was there with 13 family members for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The view, the pool, the villa all wonderful. Luis the employee a lovely man showed me the horses that you can see from the villa. There are also beautiful kittens, dogs, geese and goats when you walk down. As a big animal lover, I liked everything very much. I highly recommend this accommodation for a family break. ♥️ Please tip the staff, as this is very much appreciated in a country like this. Everything was wonderful. Thank you very much

If you're looking for a cultural DR experience and do not mind walking 10 minutes to the beach/restaurants, I highly recommend. It also took me 35-40 mins to walk to the Juan Dolio Liquor store the "nightlife partying" nearby. Very safe location even if it looks a bit sketchy at first. There area cameras on property. I walked alone at night and felt very safe. Most locals are there to protect tourists. During the tour Eddy was welcoming and went above and beyond to help! Some things that were broken, but he let me know ahead of time and was very honest. The water pressure in bathrooms was not always great. They also only have cold water in some showers but it was also hot outside so it was nice! One of the bathroom toilets was not working, but Eddy was on top of it and was helpful. There was 1 waterbug in a room when we first arrived, but did not see any other insects. A/C works in well in 1A, not so much in 1B but not unbearable. It is a 3rd world country so many things expected.
