Waterfront vacation rentals in Santo Domingo

I’ve stayed at Jose’s residence a few times, and he’s the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. He’s extremely flexible, nice, communicative, reliable, and helpful. I will always and forever stay here for my travels.

The place is beautiful and comfortable. I really enjoyed my 3 nights there. It was very clean and everything is easy to use. You get a taste of Dominican line by talking with the neighbors and it’s also close to the Boardwalk /Malecon where everybody likes to hang out. It is very secure, I felt very safe, the bedroom is in the back so no noise from the street. From the balcony on your left you can see the ocean and palm trees and feel the breeze at night. In the morning you can hear sometimes the neighbors downstairs chatting in an inner courtyard but it ain’t loud . I loved it. You gonna love it too.

It is a pleasure to stay in that complex. However, the outside of the building could benefit from some new painting. Luz was an excellent host. I will return in the near future.

It’s effortless to explore nearby attractions, with stunning beaches just a short drive away. In only 30 minutes southwest, you’ll find Palenque and Najayo. Heading southeast, the beautiful beaches of Juan Dolio and Boca Chica are within a 50-minute reach. The apartment itself is spotless with 24/7 Electricity and its surroundings are perfect for walking and enjoy the Coast View. Great spot ended up staying only one night due to flight complications but no issues checking in and the space was well maintained

José Luis continues to be a fantastic long-term host who takes great care of the property. He’s always respectful and considerate, and I enjoy being his guest. I highly recommend José Luis’s place!

Great host! Quick to respond.... Quiet 3 bdrm 2 1/2 bath with elevator, views of the Colonial Zone/ river, mini market and restaurant downstairs. Security was great. You can fish at the bridge across the street and I walked maybe 8 minutes to the entrance of the Colonial Zone. Cross the street from the Airbnb, walk across the bridge and cross another street and you're there. Uber ride to Colonial Zone was under 130 pesos. Uber ride to Agora Mall was only 260 pesos. Mini market came in handy but they also have Delivery to the Airbnb from the local Colmados. I'll definitely stay here again

Quiet, Private, close to lot of places

our stay here was everything and more!! House is probably best house on the street. The backyard was EVERYTHING!! The neighborhood, although looked sketchy at first look, actually was peaceful and quiet. NO PROBLEMS. If i were going to stay in the Carolina area again I'd stay here again....central to all the areas i needed to visit.

I was happy to visit Mr. Keny's house again because it suit me in location, size and amenities. The owner of the house took great care to ensure that the guests were comfortable during our stay. It was very clean inside. As always, there is everything we needed. For me it is always a reliable place to spend a weekend in the city.

Warm hosts and very welcoming! Location in the heart of the Colonial and accommodation services well above what was imagined for a first trip to the Dominican Republic. Mary and Patrick are always available and not eager to offer the best tips to make the stay even more unforgettable. Enjoyed my stay at the Casita Colonial. The apartment was as advertised and located in a safe area within the Colonial Zone, only a block away from the coast, a short walking distance to many restaurants and a 10-minute walk to the major supermarket…a small market is also across the street. The host was very friendly and accommodated an early check-in, meeting me at the apartment to explain how to use the water pump, clothes washer, centrifuge dryer, etc. She was responsive to all questions that I had and recommended some nice restaurants. I would stay again and recommend to others for an authentic Santo Domingo experience. Thanks!

Spacious and beautiful apartment, with all the comforts for a quiet and comfortable stay. With good parking and security at all times. The area is very quiet, clean and close to everything. The esplanade is close by for a walk. Orlando accommodated us with some requests we had in a comprehensive, flexible and friendly way. He was very respectful and helpful. I highly recommend it and we will be back. Thank you very much!

Safe and clean

We had a wonderful stay! The location was unbeatable, it was very easy to get there. Also just 8 minutes away in car from the Colonial Zone. Check in was super smooth and the guys at the reception were very helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, the floor and bathrooms were shiny. The bed linens smelled amazing, the pillows were super soft, and everything felt fresh and cozy. They placed water and coffee, really appreciated :) there is also a little market a few minutes walking in case you need anything to eat or drink, we ordered breakfast one of the days and it was delicious! We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Sandra and Miguel!

Juan's place is great for up to 4 people. I plan to stay here again in the future.
