We have fallen in live with Vivar del Cid, everyone was so friendly, helpful, knew Laura and the inn we were staying at, a delight! The birthplace of El Cid, gorgeous roses, a gem of a town. We will be back. Thank you all for the conversation and history of the Campeador!

Hemos estado muy a gusto. La casa estaba impecable y era fresquita. Hemos ido con nuestros dos peludos y han estado muy cómodos. Se agradece que anfitrionas como Teresa den la oportunidad de viajar con mascotas. Además ha estado pendiente en todo momento y nos ha ayudado en todo lo posible. El pueblo es tranquilo y hay lugares cerca para visitar.

Hola a todos y todas!! Venimos de pasar un fin de semana espectacular en las Merindades, en la increíble casa de Raquel, antes de nada, destacar que era una escapada sorpresa para mi pareja, por su 30 cumpleaños, desde el principio Raquel fue una persona encantadora, ayudándome en todo, ofreciéndome planes y ayuda en cualquier cosa que surgiera, nos dejo una carta con felicitación incluida y dos muffins de chocolate! La casa es, todavía mejor que en las fotos, el jardín es enorme, con hamacas, barbaoca, espacio de sobra con nuestro perrete ( menudas vacaciones se ha pegado el), muchos árboles y sombra, un porche con una mesa inmejorable para desayunar y cenar; la casa por dentro es una absoluta pasada, imposible no enamorarse, hasta el mas pequeño detalle nos encantó! No quiero despedirme y recomendaros esta casa, sin antes darle las gracias a nuestra anfitriona y deciros que Raquel es 10/10, ella y la estancia claro! No dejéis de visitar Frías, Puentedey, Tobera y Ruinas de Rioseco!!

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.

La casa es maravillosa, tiene todo tipo de detalles, es ideal para disfrutar con amigos por la amplitud de todas las estancias. La atención de Javier fue fantástica y todo fue sin incidentes. El pueblo es muy bonito, tranquilo y está muy próximo a Burgos. Repetiria sin dudarlo!!

Ricardo was a terrific host from start to finish, providing recommendations and a complete printed guide, and was also quick to respond to any questions. His Burgos apartment is in a terrific location, between the castle on the hill and the beautiful cathedral. Every location is walkable, including the Museum of Burgos and the Museum of Human Evolution. Best of all, there is a great bike rental shop on Calle Carmen and a terrific bike path that will take you out of the city and out to three monasteries. Ricardo’s apartment is a great place to come back to. The bed is comfy, there is plenty of closet space, the kitchen has a full complement of dishes, silverware, pans, a microwave, oven and induction stove, and plenty of counter space if you want to cook. The decor is tasteful, the bathroom clean and shower hot, and the sofa is a super comfortable place to rest. An incredible find in Burgos!

Das Dorf ist zauberhaft und die Menschen sehr freundlich. Die Ruhe und die weite Natur laden zum entspannen und herunterfahren ein. Die Stadt Burgos ist in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem was benötigt wird ausgestattet. Auch der Garten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastgeberin ist offen, hilfsbereit und reagiert schnell. Das Haus ist auch beim wechselhaften Frühlingswetter ideal gelegen mit kurzen Distanzen zu verschiedenen Aktivitäten und dem nordspanischen tiefen "Campo".
