We spent wonderful days in an enchanting house full of good energy. The terrace opened the view into the distance and the music of the birds and nature was balm for the soul. The pool is a valuable enrichment on hot days. Even in April we were able to enjoy the cool water. We particularly thank Nadia ,the wonderful and warm soul of the house. You can discover and admire a lot in the area. In Asti there are very nice museums and opportunities for a culinary trip. All in all we had an unforgettable holiday.

Beautiful place and setting, very private. Federica meet us there and showed us everything and gave us recommendations of places to visit and eat. Loved having extra stuff for breakfast in the refrigerator and the fresh baked goods every morning. Would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice stay with the family, the house is very clean, very nice decoration, well equipped, the view of the lake is beautiful, really magical and it's very quiet. Very good communication with Albert, tips for accessing the house and recommendations places and restaurants to discover. A problem on arrival and during the week with the small entrance gate which was capricious to open, after multiple tests. The pool is very clean and very large! Beautiful for swimming. Think about bathing cups, balls, snorkel masks not allowed. Min depth 1.50 meter) We had a lovely week discovering the treasures of the area, Ceresolo nearby (beware of the road if you go there on foot), Laveno Monbello where we ate very good ice cream at the Gelateria L 'imbarcadero, took the ferry boat to go to Intra and access the beautiful borrome islands from Stresa or the very pretty village of Cannobio, or Lake Orta. Tiziana is a Superhost who is attentive to the smallest details. She was committed and worked hard to make us feel at home. The accommodation is great and nice, super equipped, both for appliances and for the linen provided in all rooms, from the kitchen to the bedroom. All rooms including the bathroom are extremely clean and sanitized, equipped with all comforts. Supplied we found sheets, towels, shower bathrobe, dish towels for the kitchen, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. Tiziana, in addition to providing all the essentials in an apartment, also made the fridge available to us with sparkling and natural water, and also allowed us to access the kitchen with the privilege of enjoying cookies and food for breakfast. The accommodation is spacious, bright, complete with heating and air conditioning, all in excellent condition, furnished with care and taste. In the outdoor garden there is a beautiful pool.

Our stay in this Airbnb was lovely!! The house and garden and the views from the terrace are beautiful, it is quiet and peaceful. A wonderful place to visit the area from, we had a great time with our 2 year old daughter who was able to play in the house and the garden and swim every day in the swimming pool. It is very clean and everything is provided for; from time to time we had a lovely little “chat” (using our hands and feet and what little Italian we know 😋) with the (grand)mother who lives above the appartement. Definitely would recommend this to our family and friends!

We felt very comfortable in the house Everything as on the pictures , pool was also great , barbecue was available , enough space to park. Andrea was very friendly, the communication was excellent and otherwise we were also satisfied.

We felt very comfortable in the antique cottage, which does not deny its rural origins. Fabrizio has preserved the rustic style well and originally with design and furnishings despite modernization. The large, fenced garden is wonderful, where we and our dog felt very comfortable. The highlight for us was the pool, which is large enough for a small swimming workout. The morning highlight for us was breakfast in the Bar del gatto, where not only the coffee and brioche were very delicious, but also the contacts were very nice. The cassetta del melograno is very suitable for people who, like us, like rural life, hikes/walks, good food and peace and quiet and are not put off by the humid climate of Piedmont - even when the sun is shining. We will be happy to come back.

I highly recommend this fantastic house, the owner or Andrea, is very friendly and responsive. The accommodation is very clean with a large garden. I will definitely be back.

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and you have everything you need and from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake and the three islands. The hosts are very nice, courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

We felt in an old country house, with all amenities. We would hear the song of the birds in the morning and go out for a walk through the lake from the back of the house, less busy and beautiful. Close to everything, within walking distance of downtown Verbania. Fiorella was attentive to our needs. Excellent host.

Esther and Roberto are wonderful people, discreet but always very helpful, they convey the love they have for this corner of paradise, how can you not share it, an hour from home but in a magical place, surrounded by nature, among the hills of Monferrato, the interior of the house is equally fabulous, rustic and well maintained, as well as very clean! We will definitely be back!

I must say this is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in Italy. Ema was very friendly and funny, and it felt like an old friend I hadn't seen for a long time. Not to mention the house... Everywhere was very nice, but it was a pity that it was raining when we went there, so we didn't have a meal on the beautiful terrace. But next time I will definitely choose a sunny day to go there for vacation!

The best choice I could have made, Silvana was a great hostess, very accurate and thoughtful in every detail; it is a reassuring place, engaging for those who love nature and large spaces and also for those who want to get away from the city. Absolutely lovely stay, with enough space for a very large family. Comfortable living space, open kitchen and beautiful outdoor garden/BBQ area. Fulvia was the perfect host and was incredibly helpful with her flexibility, recommendations and attention to detail. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The rooms are very spacious, there are several wet rooms available (ideal for our multi-generational family), the kitchen is well equipped, barbecue and charcoal are available, there is plenty of parking, you can travel super comfortably by public transport - in short: we enjoyed the stay very much and would book the property again immediately.

Plenty of space: spacious garden, spacious rooms, living space and dining space. Kitchen small but ok. Everything available: a BBQ with charcoal, a washing machine with laundry product, dish soap, scouring pads, towels,... takeaway pizzeria around the corner. We did trips by car, owv too hot and no solid footpath to go to the center, but parking in the center is not expensive. And thank good air conditioning because it was hot :). Also many nice restaurants and nice plunging places nearby.

We totally enjoyed the days of our stay! The lovingly furnished apartment offered us everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the garden with the impressive lake view)) Benedikte is a wonderfully attentive hostess who was always there for us. A very warm thank you to you! We would come back any time and can only recommend the apartment!

This is the second time we've stayed in this house and, just like the first time, everything was perfect! The house is beautiful, thoughtful, and very welcoming. Communication with Max and Francesca was always fast and efficient, making everything even easier and more enjoyable. We really hope to be able to return soon!

Warm welcome by Fabrizio. Good explanation of what to do and where the dog is welcome. Very clean accommodation and everything was correct according to the listing. 2 small fenced gardens where the dog can walk around safely. Close to the dike where there are many cafes and restaurants. Small supermarket nearby, Large supermarkets 5 min by car. Host responds quickly to messages. We have had a pleasant time there.

We stayed at Simona and Gianluca’s place for a week with the whole family. And we had a marvelous holiday! The area, with its rolling hills and beautiful views is just magnificent. Moncalvo and the wider Monferrato region offer everything you need for a quiet, relaxing and extremely enjoyable time. The recommendations from Simona and Gianluca for things to do were just perfect! In particular we liked the aperitivo at sunset in front of the Castell’Alfero church while the kids were playing on the playground, followed by a delicious dinner at Osteria dell’Eremita. But there are many more villages, all with their own particular charm, to visit; you can hardly go wrong. The house in Castelmerlino is located in a beautiful and quiet area, only a short drive away from Moncalvo (we loved the Thursday market!). It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a carefree holiday. The garden, full of flowers and offering a splendid view, is just fantastic! Hope to be back one day!
