From the house there are hiking trails, a climbing school and a 5-minute walk to the church square where we can find the museum, the bar and the path that leads to the monument, Ossuary, built in memory of the massacre.

There is a place a few steps away from the famous Versilia (Tuscany) called Borgo Metato Toscana. Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. La Cipressa is part of this place.

The house is located on a high hill about 600 meters above sea level and is located within a small village. It is 1.5 km from the parking lot of the village of Metato, this last stretch is a narrow and steep path accessible with small 4WD cars, the owner can put at your disposal a Fiat Panda, to be used exclusively from the parking lot to the house.
