Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Santa Monica

We loved our stay. I lived in Venice for two years so I knew what to expect. It’s Venice, meaning it can get quirky, especially at night, but that’s kinda its charm. Fantastic coffee and fun eateries in walking distance, and there’s always Main St or Abbot Kinney if you want a little more trendy chic. Clean, secure and cozy, ticked all our boxes for the little time we actually needed to stay there. Steps to beach and lively lifestyle that won’t break the bank? Hosts that check in and make sure all is good? This is your home away from home.

We really liked Romans place.. great location.. we walked everywhere.. the shower could have done with a better clean lots of mould in it... I had a crack at it... I'm a clean freak so I guess I'm a bit over the top with my cleanliness... the wind screams up the outside hallway so it's sounds like someone is talking to you... when they're not Lol... not a concern just so others know they aren't going crazy!! Could do with better blinds in the bedroom it's so bright in there in the morning... overall we liked it here alot! Loved that there was a washer and dryer and a car space... the instructions to get in and where to park were the best instructions we have ever received... thanks for having us Roman! :-)

Exactly as advertised with a great host to match! Akaisha was super responsive if we had questions - one night we came back and couldn’t find any street parking and the hosts were able to figure something out for us. Would be great if there was built in parking for this unit as there’s a good amount of room on the property, but we knew it was street parking when booking. Not a lot of noise from Venice Blvd or the 10! Decent neighborhood, easy to get to main street walking. The unit itself was really great, though don’t bank on using the couch to sleep, it’s not very comfortable. It’s a tried and true one bedroom with one bed.

I had a great stay at Alisa’s place! She was super friendly, responsive, and helpful in her communications - including replying to my booking inquiry really fast which made the booking process very smooth and easy. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos - and actually felt even more spacious in person - and everything was clean and just as described. The building had great facilities, especially the pool area. The neighborhood was peaceful and lovely, right across the street from an outdoor mall with lots of shops and restaurants, plus two grocery stores within walking distance. The marina was also nearby and made for a great evening walk. Very convenient access to LAX airport too. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this place for 4 days, place was clean, check-in instructions were clear and Sam / Amber were very responsive. I would recommend it.

Thank you Jennifer for an amazing stay! The building was beautiful! And the place was just as described. It’s definitely on the small side, but essentially the size of a normal hotel room. If you would like to cook, keep in mind there’s no kitchen other than a microwave and coffee maker, though that wasn’t an issue for us. Also had a partial ocean view from the top floor and large windows you can open to feel the breeze. Even though it was an older building (on the Santa Monica registry of historic buildings), it was beautifully updated and spotless. Felt very safe with a gated courtyard and a gorgeous neighborhood just 2 blocks from the beach. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was only a 10min walk or so to the shops and restaurants, maybe 15-20min to the pier. We loved our stay and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would definitely consider it again!

If you're looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you! This place has *everything* (literally) to help you unwind, all you have to do is show up and relax. Not to mention the beautiful mountain views and the awesome drives down the winding roads! Char was super responsive and readily available if you needed anything. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your little slice of paradise. It reminded us as to why we love California so much!

This is our second stay with Clay and would highly recommend his place. Spotless, excellent location at the border of Venice and 1 block from the beach. Restaurants and Cows End Coffee! His place is very comfortable, clean, quiet and cute/charming. Comfy mattresses and linens for good sleeping. I would t pass this one up!

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

Had such an amazing stay in Los Angeles, mainly due to Michael’s place meeting and surpassing expectations. Incredible views of the city and the attention to detail throughout this place made us instantly feel comfortable and at home. From the large comfortable beds, both bathrooms and showers, the home cinema, the kitchen and dining area layout and in the instructions put in place telling us how everything works was a really nice touch from the host. Our host, Michael, was very helpful from the day we reserved to the day we checked out, such a friendly and informative host. Thanks a lot, can’t wait to visit again. Neil & Sandra

Heidi was friendly, greeted us at the gate, showed us around, checked in the next day to make sure all was well. She'd thoughtfully supplied us with delicious blueberry muffins, coffee, tea, staples in the fridge, creamer, milk, a stick of butter, a couple eggs, etc. It was so welcome after a day of travel. The kitchen's well equipped. I was easily able to make pancakes, cookies, breakfast and dinners, no problem. The beds were VERY comfortable! The bed linens were freshly washed and soft, as were the plentiful towels! Comfy sofa + armchair. If you're looking for a sleek modern place this is not for you, but for those who appreciate a cozy slice of vintage LA, as we do, you'll enjoy staying here. The dog friendly neighbourhood was great for us! Always people walking their dogs. We felt safe taking our pup out, day and night. Being a doggy neighbourhood, during the day you'll hear barking every so often. Restaurants, shops, grocery, ice cream 5 min walk! We'd definitely stay again!

we truly enjoyed this home. We stayed for six days and each day we enjoyed how calm and relaxing the home is designed. So much greenery and fountains. Just loved it!

Listing was clean and as described. Location was walkable and close to many metro bike stations, where you can rent bikes for pretty cheap. I’d recommend going up north more towards Santa Monica than south towards Venice.

The apartment is located right in the middle of DTLA, with most major sights within a 20-minute walk. While parts of Broadway and some sections east of it are a bit sketchy, the building itself checks the identity of everyone entering and feels very safe. Parking is in a garage across the street, which also feels safe. The apartment is spacious, with tall ceilings and lots of light. The bedroom isn't fully separate (only a half wall) so it gets light and noise from the main area in the mornings (eye mask and earplugs will be good for the person who sleeps later). The kitchen area is modern, with good counter space and appliances. Giselle and Ali were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. They provided lots of local tips and quickly addressed any questions or minor issues.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

We had a wonderful time staying at Nicole's place! It's great for groups and plenty of entertainment for teens/kids. Would definitely stay again.

Very well-furnished with all the amenities. Our hosts even had cold drinks in the fridge for us. Both Tianna and Grant were very responsive and friendly. Only 5min to LAX

Overall, my stay went pretty smooth. The guests were very helpful and checking out was seamless. The apartment itself was filled with very nice amenities. The living room is very spacious and having parking is a plus. The Airbnb is situated in a nice area. I enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the LA area.

This place was spectacular. My fiance and I really enjoyed this cozy spot and everything was as described. Place has a vintage look and feel to it that I really loved. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife that we’re walking distance. Cynthia, I would like to say you are awesome! You were so responsive to our messages and just made our stay much more comfortable. Again thank you for everything.
