Beachfront vacation rentals in Santa Monica

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Unfortunately didn’t get to stay in this exact Airbnb due to a maintenance issue. But Larry did everything he could do to make sure I had appropriate accommodation, was easy to communicate with, and even still gave me access to the sauna and rooftop pool. Thanks for helping me have a great trip Larry!

Anna was a great host—very responsive and attentive. Her home was spotless and a fantastic deal for the location! Easy, walkable access to the whole property. Will definitely return!

Everything was great! I stayed for a night and the host was very sweet. The place is as advertised. Clean and with a stunning view. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Yese was a very responsive and helpful host. The building is huge but very quiet and we hardly saw anyone in the hallway. The apartment was very clean. Safe and convenient location for a mother and teen traveling - easy access to the local freeway, Ralph Supermarket and Starbucks were a 5 min walk away. The parking lot was a bit of a maze but once you drive through once or twice, you know where to go and which elevators to take. The only con is the pillows! The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows need to be updated/upgraded. Overall, a great stay.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

A wonderful place to stay! Lots to do without even leaving the space, which was nice.

Beautiful condo, with a very beautiful and spacious kitchen, a huge couch, and pillows, and the beds are very comfortable as well. The pool is right in front of the condo, so was very convenient. Whole Foods is right next to the complex, which makes everything very easy to shop if you want to cook and need something from there. Malibu Pier is extremely close and beautiful. I would recommend this place, to anyone who visits Malibu

Beautiful house! Pictures are accurate to how nice each area actually looks. Plenty of space and beds for multiple families. Owners provided multiple bikes, boards, sand toys, beach chairs, tennis rackets (sports courts only a few minutes walk). Also, walking distance to restaurants/coffee shop and just steps from the beach.

Exactly as listed and a nice get away. Quiet neighbors and good location. Enjoyed the parking spot inside a safe garage and access to elevators ! Would recommend!

Great location close to the beach. Kitchen well stocked! Plenty of towels. Comfy beds and a washer and dryer was great. Street noise is loud, but you can’t hear it inside or by the ocean! Lots of nice extra touches, sleep masks, ear plugs, sound machines. Beach toys were great for the kids!! Our family of 8 had plenty of spots to sit, eat and sleep!

The views are wonderful and walking around the marina is pretty. The condo is spotless. Claudia was extremely responsive throughout the rental. I see why she is Superhost. It was winter so we didn’t use the pool, but the pool area and close-by patio area with hot tub are nice. Whole Foods in Venice is great and close by, as is Costco, so we had many meals at ‘home.’ A few cons: there is no bedroom. It is a studio. No fluffy white towels in bathroom as shown. Can’t use the small balcony. Finally - not a reflection on the host at all, but the building has shared water and morning showers were not always hot. Evening showers were fine. A nice place if you want a home base away from downtown in a pretty area.

Location, location, location! This house was a dream! Being steps away from the beach was priceless. My kiddo woke up every morning and played on the beach for hours. The house was beautiful albeit a little more rustic. Some shutters need replacing and some knobs and handles are a little wonky but we would come back in a heartbeat! Tyler was super helpful and responsive and handled all our needs with ease.

The house has one of the most beautiful coastlines I've ever seen! Imagine waking up to the gorgeous sunrise and falling asleep to the pink and purple sunset. Also, John and Stephanie are very willing to help and are easy to reach whenever you have a question. I also appreciate how they are open to changes. Overall, it was an amazing experience, definitely plan to visit again!

The place is beautiful so clean and Happy vibe! Views are breath taking. The condo was equipped with everything you need. Ling ling was very helpful. Neighbors friendly. The outdoor living space is lovely. Close to lots of places to walk to dinner and the ocean so close just 5 min walk. We love her place and it felt like home.

Visiting from San Diego and we just absolutely loved this place and the location! Very clean and spacious!! Outside patio area is beautiful and perfect for having a pup! We really enjoyed using the fire pit area in the evening. Everything is walkable from beaches to shops and restaurants! We will be back for sure!

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret’s place! The location is perfect…2 blocks to Main Street and 2 blocks to the beach. Very easy to get in, and we loved having a garage parking spot for our car. We used the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels, which made for a lovely stay near the beach. We would definitely recommend this place, and will hopefully be back in the future!!

This was a perfect place for us - well-equipped, comfortable, and convenient to every place and everything we needed. Alain was extremely responsive to questions and provided many helpful suggestions, which were also much appreciated. Alain made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone who wants to be near a beach, walk to get coffee and pastries, and have a quiet place to stay with friends or family.

Great beach location, very spacious, two private parking spots and walkable to everything in Seal Beach. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The building is a work-in-progress. The amenities (kitchen, bathrooms) are definitely older but everything worked and what was nice were the bed linens and towel. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. There is a laundry room with W/D. Fun family place or for 3 couples!

The house was such an amazing location. Loved the direct beach access, easy to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Emily was so clear with all instructions, including that the house does sit on a public walkway so we knew exactly what to expect. She even let us know that one of our main activities we were visiting for was really not close to her house, appreciate all the upfront information. Felt it was a great value for what we paid, already looking to book again.

We very much enjoyed the clean house and quiet neighborhood at Greg’s. It was located near our conference and close to restaurants and shops so we could walk everywhere. Thank you!

Donald's apartment was an excellent home-away-from-home for our six-week stay in LA (helping with new babies). The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and everything worked properly; my husband and I were really able to settle in to the space. Donald was promptly responsive to a couple of minor things that needed attention. The heat worked well (we were there in December/January) and the windows were tight (we evacuated for a few days during the fires, and there was no trace of invasive dust or ash when we returned). The dedicated garage parking space was a definite plus! We enjoyed walking on the Venice Boardwalk and exploring the Venice Canals area, and some local restaurants and shops in the neighborhood that Donald recommended. We would definitely go back to 28 S. Venice Blvd!
