Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Maria

This was an exceptional stay. The hosts, Sonia and Paolo, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist. From meeting us on a nearby road to guide us to the house, to the clear information (all written and verbal) and recommendations for local restaurants and services; it was above anything we expected or had experienced before. The house was spotless and very comfortable with all amenities and some very generous welcoming gifts including local delicacies. We would recommend this stay highly to anyone visiting the area.

The property is beautifully situated on the mountain, above the village. You have a view of the valley, the sea and the picturesque mountain village. Pietro and his wife were a very likeable couple and helped us at all times. The place is very nice, clean and modern. We were very comfortable! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Italian country house in Gerace! The house is very well maintained, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed. The surroundings, with olive trees all around, are absolutely dreamy – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Mariagrazia and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and their tips for restaurants and local spots were truly great. All in all, we can absolutely recommend this place – and we would love to come back!

Antonio’s place is really beautiful and peaceful, and I do recommend it to everyone looking for a zen experience in the middle of the nature! A peaceful house in the middle of the nature!

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

We had a great time in this residence, absolute tranquility. Swimming pool and garden always clean and kept in order. Staff and maintenance are always available for any unexpected events. Added value is the private beach accessible with 400 steps. Feasible even by my 3-year-old daughter. We'll definitely be back!

Pasquale was really very friendly and accommodating. He answered every question right away and was able to help us with any concerns. Check-in & check-out was straightforward and the proximity of the beach was really the highlight for us. You should know that the accommodation is more suitable for two people and offers a little little space for three (and not enough cutlery, chairs, etc.) but for both of us it was more than sufficient. The water was great, wifi worked great, everything important was nearby (shopping, pharmacy, ..). The only desirable would be air conditioning, as the ceiling fan may not be sufficient for the people who are not accustomed to the climate. We would come back any time and really enjoyed our time in Tropea at Pasquale.

Carmela was helpful and very attentive, a property with a lovely garden. Our studio apartment had a terrace from which you could see the sea. The location of her apartment is truly strategic, allowing you to move around easily and reach both the beautiful city of Tropea and the various beaches around.

The stay at Alberto and Gabriella's exceeded expectations. In addition to the absolutely strategic location for visiting the surroundings and the property rich in details and tastefully furnished, the added value is the hosting, the attention they reserve. We were lucky enough to have dinner at the property on the day of our arrival and what can I say? Dinner was really a treat, too. The two-room apartment solution proved to be a winner for our needs! A round of applause for the daily cleaning of the apartment, a very welcome service! When we return to the area, we won't be able to help but stop here again.

The apartment corresponds exactly to Alessandro's descriptions, it is in a quiet area just outside the city. There is no sidewalk for about 500 meters for those who want to walk but a 2-minute drive away there is a large free parking lot at the supermarket so you can leave your car and continue on foot to the historic center. Alessandro is always courteous and helpful. I hope to go back.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Scilla. Loved it!

Nice quiet accommodation, well-equipped, good bedding. 15 min walk to the city. Starting point for boat trips to Stromboli. Basic equipment provided (towels, coffee, tea...) except oil/salt/pepper. Friendly welcome in Italian only. We highly recommend it.

We had a great time! Elizaveta was very friendly and always available to help us out. Elio even found a parking spot for us and dropped us off in front of the appartment with our luggage. Both of them went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had a great time. The appartment is in the middle of the historic center and is very cute. You have everything that you need there and everything is in walking distance. I highly recommend!

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

We came from Savoy as a family. The accommodation was spacious beyond our expectations with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The area is peaceful and quiet and has all the necessary amenities. There was even a ping pong table. The hosts were very helpful and available for any request. We had a good exchange, they were even very attentive to us after 11 p.m.! Sincerely, very very far from disappointed, it's a nice and beautiful family. Pleasantly surprised, we'll be back.

A beautiful, spacious apartment just minutes from Lamezia Terme airport, with a pizzeria right below the apartment. Everything was beautiful, and very well maintained. Our host was warm and accommodating, especially when we had to check in later than anticipated. I would definitely recommend the lodgings. There are a few other restaurants within walking distance, although there is construction on the road (as of April 2025), which limits the walkability a little.

The appartment was exactly as in the pictures. Very clean, at a walkable distance from everything (downtown, beaches, restaruants, supermarket). Very spacious and I had everything I need for my stay at Tropea. The host was very friendly and proactive. I travel a lot with my dog and this was the frist time when I received the number of the local vet. If I return to Tropea, I will definitely choose to stay here.

Great apartment in beautiful Tropea. Good amenities and clean For 4 people, the size fits. With 6 people it gets quite tight. The beach and town are within walking distance. We, a family of 4, enjoyed our vacation very much. Antonio was not on site himself, but communication worked out great.
