Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

Pamela's property was excellent. It was beautiful and clean and suited the needs for my wife and I and our 16 year old daughter. We were able to walk to all the sites and had nearby restaurants, pharmacy, market, etc. Pamela was kind and responsive and an excellent host. I would highly recommend this property.

The serene location with the most beautiful views. The home was larger than expected and beautifully decorated. Perfect to pop over to Venice for the day. Venice is too crowded to stay. We prefer relaxed areas. I will tell everyone I know to come and enjoy your lovely place. Thank you.

Chiara always responded quickly and I was sure that everything will work out before the trip. She welcomed us warmly and the location was nice and close to the vaporetto station. At night it was nice and quiet, also it was clean. There was a bialetti, good coffee, toaster, everything is fine.

The place is perfect for a stay in Venice. It is in a very good location, very close to the bus station. It is located close to a path to the Rialto Bridge with lots of shops and restaurants all along. A small bakery, often crowded with customers, allows you to have breakfast near the accommodation. Lucia sent us all the information for check-in and checkout. Communication was perfect. We would like to stay again in this beautiful city, atypical and with lots of charm.

We spent 3 nights in Barbara's very tastefully decorated Apartment. We were personally welcomed by Angela who takes perfectly care of everything. The house is in a very typical venetian neighbourhood, with lovely osterias, cafes where you can enjoy a nice meal or a campari soda. although its only a 10 minutes walk to the very heart of venice, to the museums etc. it is a quiete place offering good sleep! We highly recommend this authentic house/Apartment and hope to have soon more time for Venice.

Nicola was an amazing host, personally collecting me from airport to local recommendations to make sure my stay was absolutely Bellissimo! 😍 The family bakery downstairs is perfecto and is a must try for everyone that stays! The apartment was super clean. Well decorated and every detail thought out. The private garden around made it very peaceful and comfortable. The view to the ocean was so nice. This place was even more than we could expect. Location is perfect. We loved the Murano Island, sunny and empty streets in the evenings.

Amazing and very clean waterfront apartment. Google maps don’t show accurate directions so I recommend using Apple Maps, our host was very helpful to get us to the right address. The boat station (that you take to go everywhere) is only a few min away, the area is very safe, walkable and has lots of cool spots nearby - cafes, shops, everything. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality pots, dishes and supplies. Hot shower, and washing machine were very nice.

We stayed in this beautiful home with a friend for the w-end, and we felt great there! The apartment is very beautiful, full of charm and spacious, overlooking the roofs of Venice, beautiful! It has everything one could need and the cleanliness of the place was spotless! A little away from the busiest streets but close to a pharmacy, a grocery store and several small bistros/wine bar, we felt very good and away from the hustle and bustle of the city while being in the center. Thanks again to Marta for her warm welcome, I really recommend this apartment!

The location was perfect—just a short walk from the train station and easy to get around from there. Check-in was super easy and hassle-free. Overall, a really convenient and smooth stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Laura's apartment. Everything was so clean and organized, and still felt like home. Laura's instructions were super clear and she met us at the designated spot within a minute. We would highly recommend staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we ever return to Venice.

Very well located, very quiet apartment, we did the 6 districts of Venice on foot in 4 days. Located 1 minute from the boat access to go to the airport. Marco is a very helpful and very responsive person. We would 🎭 highly recommend! Excellent value for money... ✨🌟

Amazing apartment in Venice. Would happily stay again

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Venice. Massimo gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, we tried two of them and they were fabulous. Would highly recommend this apartment if you are staying in Venice.

Quiet, off a narrow alleyway, but a short distance from the San Stae boat stop where you can catch the vaporetto as well as a boat right to the airport (made for an easy leaving from Venice). 3 floors of narrow stairs are tricky with bigger suitcases.

Super cozy little apartment that is perfectly located in relation to distance to sights

Alessandro’s place was spacious and quiet. He gave us great tips on what to do and not do and times to avoid certain attractions and that was very helpful. We had fun exploring all that Venice had to offer. Very nice!

We had a very nice stay at this place. Walkable distance to everything, and quite tucked away so it feels more quiet. Would come back!

We had a great few days at this AirBnB! It is quiet and private, but just a 3-4min walk from the busy streets. Paolo is a phenomenal host! He recommended local activities, eateries, and was very communicative and helpful from start to finish. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Venice!

The Ca’ Manzoni apartment was a great place to stay for our four nights in Venice! The decor was very Venetian and extremely elegant, and it was a relaxing space to come ‘home to’ after hectic days spent amongst the Venice summer tourists. The location was very central - which was wonderful. We lovedlistening to classical the music from the nearby music school. Our host was extremely communicative and gave us lots of advice and tips for things to do around the city. We’d highly recommend this AirBnB to other travellers!

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.

Probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. Olivia was really communicative before we arrived and helped us get to the apartment easily and provided recommendations of what to do whilst in Venice. The apartment was spotless and the decor felt very authentic. The small terrace and roof terrace had amazing views and was great to have breakfast out there. There are a number of stairs to get up to the apartment but it didn’t present an issue. Will definitely return next time we are in Venice.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Venice and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and full of charm. The location was perfect: close to the main attractions in walking distance but still quiet enough to relax after a day of exploring! Check-in was very smooth, and the host was very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. The apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed, from kitchen essentials to a comfortable bed. The outdoor garden is also a lovely little space to wind down in with a glass of prosecco after a long day of exploring. Such a lovely quiet neighbourhood and we really felt like true locals in this location. Would 100% recommend staying here!
