The apartment is centrally located and allows easy access to everything Springfield has to offer. Two large bedrooms with queen beds and a large living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. We can easily accommodate six guests with a queen-sized air mattress. We also have a pack-n-play available for little guests. Historic home attic converted to a private 3rd floor apartment, featuring private kitchen and bathroom. Located just two blocks from what many would agree is the best park in Springfield, with a pond, a botanical garden, tennis courts, a playground, and nice roads to run, walk, bike, or skate on. We are also very close to downtown as well as other commercial areas. This space is on the 3rd floor with private access from outdoor stairs and keypad entry.

Loved Janet's house! We were in town for a family event and we needed somewhere private and quiet to stay with our toddler. The house was plenty spacious for him to run around safely and every bedroom was big enough for his pack n play. Janet was very communicative and friendly. All of the instructions for checking on and out were clear. We had a great time and would highly recommend!

This charming and well-kept home was a perfect place for my family and me to stay. Katie and Mark were incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless. When we realized we had forgotten an item after checking out, they replied instantly and graciously allowed us to return to retrieve it. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and will always look back fondly on our week in Springfield. If you’re visiting the Capital City area, I highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

This was our third time staying at Lucille's place and it was just as great as our previous stays. It's a nice place and always very clean. I appreciate that Lucille reaches out with instructions prior to arrival and sends reminders of what needs to be done at check-out the day before. It's a nice neighborhood and convenient location. Highly recommend!

Newly rebuilt cozy cottage

The place was very cute clean with a little whimsy- we loved the different chandeliers !! It was nice having two bedrooms and two bathrooms ( each room had their own ) Also we were very impressed that they had thought of every need - my friend forgot her phone charger - and sure enough they had one that fit - and we needed scissors for something and found them too … they had maps for both Taylorville and Springfield - plenty of bottled water and coffee - the place was so clean ! Looks like some of the houses are being renovated - but we felt safe and comfortable- enjoyed sitting out on the side deck for our morning coffee - thank you we will stay again !!
