I cannot recommend this place highly enough! This is by far the most well-built and thoughtfully designed accommodation I have stayed in throughout Central America. Every detail speaks to quality—from the solid construction to the immaculate furniture and linens, which feel like new. Nelly is a truly exceptional host—warm, kind, and always willing to help. She not only ensures a comfortable stay but also goes above and beyond, offering assistance in connecting with local resources and even sharing avocados from her farm. The setting is breathtaking, with a pristine mountain stream flowing just behind the cottage. It’s the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by nature’s beauty. The small general stores for basic necessities are just a short walk away, making it convenient yet still wonderfully secluded. The wifi is strong and stable for remote workers. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to restore yourself or a quiet, inspiring place to work, this is absolute paradise.

We loved the place. It is very well equipped and very nice. It is also in the very center of Santa Maria. The hosts gave clear instructions and responded quickly. We can't wait to come back for more days. The bus/lodging is inside a property where there is something else, which makes it safe and there is also privacy. Thank you!

We are delighted with our stay at Auxilliadora's, the cottage was very clean and welcoming and Auxilliadora's mom was very responsive to our requests. We'll be back with pleasure. Anne and Juliette
