We loved our time here! Not only were Darren and Laura wonderful hosts and communicators, but the property genuinely exceeded our expectations, the Airbnb was MORE beautiful in person than in the photos (hard to believe, I know), and the location of the neighborhood was incredible — high up on a hill of a beautiful and safe neighborhood. 😍 Only recommendation for future guests — book one extra day!! There is so much to do and such little time! We would’ve loved to have one more day to enjoy the Airbnb a little more. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

we absolutely loved Chantelise's cottage. It was our first flight with our 7 month old and the space was perfect. Our son lived the micro farm. Such a beautiful space. We will be visiting again!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The home was cozy, clean, and perfectly located, but what really made the experience special was the kindness and hospitality of our hosts. They even invited us to one of their favorite local spots for dinner—it was such a memorable and thoughtful gesture. We felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. To make it even more special, my son celebrated his 10th birthday here, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

This is the third time we stay in Tracy's place, and it's always a great pleasure. The location is great, the house is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Tracy responds quickly to any messages and really makes us feel at home. Will keep coming back :)

Was a great option for close proximity to the Google campus which is where we needed to be. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and walkable. It’s evident they are very involved with the beautiful landscaping and gardening on/around the property therefore notable tree pollen/allergens during the spring time. Overall a cute, cozy, and darling stay!

The apartment is ideally located for visiting Stanford and is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and flowers, and lots of birds. The host is very friendly and responsive

Linda welcomed us in person while we were checking in. Cozy, super well equipped little 1 room apartment. Very clean & tidy with a lot of extras. Not that far from airport & bus line 3-5 min away. We felt right away home and comfy. Thank you Linda also for your recommendations & quick responses. We loved staying there and would book with her again. This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped. One of the highlights was the bed, it even has a built-in massager, which was such a relaxing treat after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook or just enjoy a cozy night in. If you’re planning a trip to Half Moon Bay, make sure to stop by Sam’s Chowder House, it’s an absolute must. The food there is unbelievable! The only small issue we ran into was with the shower. The water tends to splash out, even reaching into the bedroom area. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but just something to be aware of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay at Julie’s studio. It was such a beautiful space and perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is beautiful and the inside is cozy and so well put together. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood to get delicious food. Would definitely stay again!

Casita in the trees is such a beautiful property, with amazing views. We enjoyed the pool and walks around the neighborhood. Melodie was quick at responding and super helpful with our questions. The pool was amazing and warm! We brought our dog and the dog kit was a perfect addition and made our dog feel welcomed! I highly recommend booking this listing and we’d be back soon!

really great place to stay. Chris was a wonderful host and the view was exceptional during the sunset and morning. only qualm was the windows didnt open/open easily but everything was spotless and they provided kitchenware, towels and the bungalow was cozy. would stay again if I were back in berkeley 🌟

We absolutely loved our stay at Sanjay's place! It was an amazing home base. You can't beat the location – having tons of great shops and restaurants just a short walk away was a huge plus. Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

I am a single woman traveler with two large dogs (8-night stay) Bonus: The bedroom was surprisingly large, and the modern bathroom was a standout. Having a dedicated parking spot in San Francisco — even for my SUV — was a huge plus. I felt safe at this location, which is important when traveling alone. There’s a lovely park just a few houses down the street. The host also provided coffee for the mornings, which was a thoughtful touch. The home included a desk for remote work, and they accepted my two large dogs, which I appreciated. For the price, parking, and pet-friendliness, this was a good stay. Just to keep in mind: The place is dog-friendly, but it needs some upkeep. A few things didn’t work as expected or were broken, and the closet was cluttered with items. Overall, the space didn’t exactly match the photos and could use attention to bring it back to its listed condition. Overall: If you don’t plan on cooking and need local transportation, this place could be a great fit.

Wonderfully quiet location in the trees next to a tiny creek. Perfect getaway from the city, yet so accessible and decorated with beautifully woven fabrics from the owner’s business.

Great converted garage which was built out and felt like a small home. Private, quiet and safe. Full kitchen, nice bathroom. Mattresses were very firm but wife and I slept like babies so no issue for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay! Clean and great location. It did get a bit stuffy at times and unfortunately, the chickens next door made it difficult to keep the window open.
