Vacation rentals in San Donato

The perfect place to explore Chianti each day. We stayed 5 nights and it was just perfect. Great amenities, beautiful pool, bbqs and lovely areas to sit and enjoy the views and the sunset. Always fabulous to come home to. Our upstairs apartment was spacious, comfortable and all we required with a lovely view. We had great recommendations from Silvia which we followed up on. Great to have restaurants nearby. Reasonable- highly recommend.

The place is amazing!!!! It’s a paradise in Tuscany. Luigi and Roberta thought about everything that we’ll make you feel like home. The place is even better than the pictures. They recommend us a restaurant in a nearby village that we absolutely loved. This is a must go place if you want to escape from the crowd of all the cities. I will definitely recommend it !

This has to be one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed it. The accommodation was luxurious in an absolutely stunning area of Tuscany. The rolling fields and cypress tree made a spectacular setting for this beautiful house. We had hired a car and this place was a 20 minute drive from Siena. Our only regret was not staying here longer.

This place was magical. A perfect place to unwind, and for a month, we called it "home." Both Antonella and Jonathan were amazing hosts, making us feel so welcome, attentive and responsive to any and all questions, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and gave us so many spot-on recommendations for places to visit and places to eat.

Wir waren jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal bei Paola und ihrer Familie und können wieder nur schwärmen! Es ist einfach ein Traumort, an dem man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Sogar unser Labrador Henri hat sich auch wieder pudelwohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft ist blitzsauber und ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten. Der Pool ist ein echtes Highlight! Und die Lage ist einfach perfekt, um alle wichtigen Ziele in der Toskana zu erkunden. In der Nähe von Livorno gibt es sogar einen tollen Hundestrand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Paola und Filippo sind einfach wunderbare Menschen, immer so fröhlich und hilfsbereit! Wir haben hier eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend und ein großes privates Pool ist Sahnehäubchen auf der Torte. Matteo ist sehr bemüht dein Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen und ist bei allem behilflich. Dabei respektiert er deine Privatsphäre und ist praktisch “ unsichtbar”. Die Wohnung selbst ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Klimaanlage ist top. Für mich als Frau eine große Ankleide war auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Draußen konnten wir uns an Gemüsegarten bedienen. Superpraktisch und gesund. Wir haben wenig gekocht, dafür viele großartige Restaurants in der nahen Umgebung besucht. Gleich am ersten Abend hat uns Matteo einen Tisch in einem Restaurant seines Freundes reserviert und das Essen war unglaublich lecker. In der Nähe würden wir auch La Sosta di Pio VII und Ristorante Triocco empfehlen. Besuche Volterra, Siena, Monterrigioni, Panzano, Castellina und Radda in Chianti und genieße die Aussichten und das Essen.

I cannot say enough good things! My 19-year-old son and I stayed for almost a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The host was kind & helpful and made us feel right at home. The town is absolutely precious great restaurants, great market and this is the absolute best location I have ever found in Tuscany with easy driving distance to so many wonderful places. Last but not least was the host. She went out of her way to help us even sending my son stuffed animal back to the United States that he left that he had since he was an infant. Please book this place. You won’t regret it. I’m honestly not the type the rights refused and I would be remiss not to review this one. I would love to come back and stay for a longer trip.
