Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Cristóbal Island

Great place for the price and distance about a 8min walk from the heart of town. Laura and her family were very responsive and super helpful. They also have a friendly cat 🐱that may say hello once you arrive 10/10 stay.

I wish we would’ve stayed at their place the entire time we were in San Cristobal. It was clean spacious had a kitchen, large refrigerator and the location couldn’t have been better. The outside patio was amazing and our host were the best host ever! If you get a chance to stay, I’d stay. It’s not the Ritz, but who needs the Ritz when you’re in paradise? It’s three floors up. It’s good exercise that’s how I look at it but if you have a problem with walking or climbing stairs, get a first floor place to stay.

La casa es muy acogedora, limpia posee todos los servicios, además ofrece una excelente ubicación. El Anfitrión es muy amigable y brinda muy buenas recomendaciones para conocer la isla.

Sonia's place is a cute house. It's an easy walk to the city center, as well as to a local beach. Sonia and Vale were very responsive when we had questions. Vale was very helpful and friendly in arranging tours and taxis. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks again to great hosts!

Wonderful location on San Cristobal! We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the front porch, watching the action in the harbor, and listening to the sea lions. There are a couple of rocks across the street where the Blue Footed Boobies like to perch, so we loved going to observe them up close. The sea lion colony is right there, it was so much fun watching the families - mothers and nursing babies, sea lions playing with each other. We could actually see the house across the harbor from the pier when we got off the ferry, and we walked right to it. On our last day we walked a half mile to the airport. We also walked to Playa Loberia which was about 2 miles each way. The snorkeling there was amazing - we swam with sea turtles and all kinds of fish. The house was great - the 3 bedrooms had great air conditioners for sleeping at night. Our stay was wonderful and we'd love to go back!

Muchas gracias a María Elena y Carlos por la gran hospitalidad que mostraron! mi familia pasó un momento muy bonito y la casa muy cómoda para nuestras necesidades. Estaba un poquito alejada del muelle pero son solo 10 minutos caminando aunque con sus recomendaciones de taxi fue más que suficiente para que mis papás se movilicen fácilmente. Muchas gracias por todo!

Asdru est un hôte très réactif et arrangeant, et la personne présente sur place facilement disponible en cas de besoin. Le logement est propre, grand (pour une famille de 4) et fonctionnel. Le quartier a peu d'intérêt mais calme. Il y a un mini market assez proche. Dans les points d'amélioration, il manque un distributeur d'eau potable et il n'y a pas d'air climatisé dans la chambre parentale. Le ventilateur est apprécié quoique bruyant.

Eine ruhige Gegend und doch ist man in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss im Zentrum. Meine Gastgeberin und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft. Danke 😊

Excelente experiencia.

I stayed at Tania's for one night and it was great for my needs. The rental is well located, and everything is accessible. The bakery and store downstairs open early for any requirements. All main restaurants are just a few blocks away. The unit is up a few flights of stairs which keeps bugs out of the unit. The portable a/c is an evaporative cooler, so be advised if you are sensitive to heat. Tania is a great host who was always quick with a reply to any question I had. Check in was easy and the unit is practical for a short stay. I would stay again, Thank you Tania!!

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue excepcional. El departamento estaba impecable, muy cómodo y equipado con todo lo necesario para sentirme como en casa. Como trabajo en línea, necesitaba una buena conexión a internet, y aquí fue excelente: rápida, estable y perfecta para videollamadas y tareas exigentes durante toda mi estadía. La cocina estaba completamente equipada, ideal para preparar mis propias comidas con comodidad. Además, nos ofrecieron equipos de snorkel sin costo adicional y una guía súper útil con los mejores lugares para hacer snorkel gratuito en San Cristóbal, lo cual hizo toda la diferencia para disfrutar la isla. También me ayudaron a organizar mis traslados en ferry a otras islas y reservar tours que fueron realmente increíbles. Esa asistencia marcó la diferencia y facilitó mucho mi experiencia en Galápagos. Y lo mejor: las vistas desde el apartamento. Cada atardecer ofrecía una postal perfecta con una panorámica de la bahía que nunca voy a olvidar. Recomiendo

Sahara’s place was great. Spacious and private. Very clean and silent. We felt right at home. Just one block away from all the restaurants and agencies yet silent at night. We strongly recommend it to anyone.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gut gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet! Ich konnte meinen Aufenthalt hier wirklich sehr genießen. Maria und Ihre Mutter sind außerdem tolle Gastgeber und immer äußerst hilfsbereit und schnell erreichbar!

Muchas gracias a Pepo por una estancia estupenda. La casa contaba con todo lo necesario: agua potable, ducha caliente, cama cómoda, una cocina completa… también tenía aire acondicionado, aunque gracias a las mosquiteras se podía perfectamente abrir las ventanas para disfrutar de la brisa de la noche. Nos sentimos muy a gusto durante toda nuestra estancia, sobre todo porque estaba situada muy cerca tanto de playas como playa Mann o punta Carola, como del centro del pueblo. Gracias en especial a nuestro host Pepo, que estuvo siempre dispuesto a brindarnos recomendaciones y consejos. Todo un gusto! Hasta la próxima y gracias!!

We really enjoyed staying here whilst on San Cristobal. We last minute booked and communication was really quick and easy. I had an online interview and the WiFi was really good. Very short walk to the sea front. Clean and spacious. Great aircon in the bedroom.
