The Stables is a beautiful place to stay, perfect for long stays also. It is situated in a lovely area. The house is wonderful, the living room is cozy, with a wood burner and the kitchen is well-equipped and spacious. Everything I needed was at the house, and any queries I had were quickly and helpfully responded to. Would definitely recommend!

Great place in quiet corner of village, cottage is to the side in the owner's back garden but feels separate. Always a good sign of when owners leave a little something on arrival, have a guest book etc. We used as base to explore Devon, very close to Dartmoor and handy to be in walking distance of a good pub.

Loads to do and see nearby. the place is quiet and it has everything you need. we loved it. Drive up to Hay Tor, you won't regret it.
