This is a great house, in a great location! We LOVED the pizza place in the neighborhood. But what stood out most is how thoughtfully this house is stocked for guests. From beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels to kitchen spices and cooking basics, and the much appreciated welcome snacks and coffee, even watersports gear... We are so used to hauling most of these items with us or buying on arrival, it was amazing to have everything just there ready for us. Thank you, Amber!

We loved Casa Mariposa—everything was just as described on the platform. It's located 20 minutes from Tamarindo and very close to our family, which was essential for us. All the rooms have good air conditioning and ceiling fans, perfect for such hot weather. The pool was super clean, and the water was amazing. The house is fully equipped, and the garage fits two large cars. My only comment is that the kitchen and living room get quite hot; I would recommend installing an AC unit for that area in the future. Ronny is a wonderful person—attentive and constantly checking in on us.

We absolutely loved Casa Feliz. The pictures online do not do justice. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. We saw so much wildlife around the property and loved how it was private and away from everything but still close to the beach and restaurants. Claire was an accommodating and amazing. We were so sad to leave and can’t wait to be back! It was a privilege to stay at such a beautiful place! we highly recommend

This home had beautiful views, a wonderful staff, and was a superb find for our family’s Christmas vacation. Santa Teresa is amazing and we had some of the best food on vacation ever! Our host , Brano was very responsive and our local helpers were amazing. There is a housekeeping staff on site, but they respect your privacy and keep watch over the property. They brought us extra towels when needed and were overall extremely respectful and helpful. For those traveling to this location, I strongly recommend either a car or ATVs as the home is located up a steep driveway. It is walkable (and there are 150 stairs to use instead) but to do this on a daily basis, you would have to be pretty fit and young. In addition, there are stairs from the driveway to get down to the house and these would not be appropriate for anyone with balance or stability issues. They were fine for us at 50 years old, but should be a consideration for anyone with walking or stability issues. We had a great time!

Honestly, the best airbnb we have ever stayed at. Perfectly situated outside of the main drag but easy walking distance to the beach and town. Extremely clean and a neat setup with the villas surrounding the pool. This was the perfect blend of privacy and the ability to socialize with other guests around the pool. The zipline and swing were an added bonus for the kids. The daily visits from the monkeys was also the highlight of the trip! The beach is an easy 7 minute walk and the grocery story is only a few minute walk away. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and ice chests available to use as well. Johanna was very kind and made some excellent recommendations. Just book it!

The home is absolutely gorgeous. Very private. The roads to arrive are rough, but nothing that a car can’t drive through. The washer/dryer was super helpful! Beware of scorpions in and out the property! We ran into two in the laundromat room and downstairs room. Luckily we were able to get them out! The town + activities are 20-40 mins away. There’s cameras are on the outside of the property, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. Overall, a great secluded home and would recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Alejandro’s. It’s a beautiful house and location. Some may it wouldn’t be the easiest to find but I’m used to Costa Rica and the directions provided were easy to follow. I loved secluded feeling and views surrounding. Starlink Internet is provided and worked absolutely amazing. Restaurants and beaches are a short drive away. This place is perfect for relaxing and chilling and close by to many wonderful places in Costa Rica. Host and team was super friendly and helpful.

This property is absolutely stunning, inside and out. It’s impeccably clean, safe, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the bed is incredibly comfortable for a restful night’s sleep. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to fantastic restaurants, the beach, a well-stocked grocery store, and an excellent yoga studio. Everything is within easy walking distance, making it a truly convenient and enjoyable stay. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the extra mood lighting, plenty of hangers, and ample storage space for clothes. The cleaning lady is lovely—kind, professional, and always respectful of your privacy. This property is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple, but if you’re traveling with family or friends, you could rent the two lower-bedroom units and enjoy a full vacation retreat together. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in the apartment. The whole property was very peaceful with lots of birds, iguanas, hummingbirds, dogs, and monkeys! The pool was really nice in the middle of the really hot sunny days. We met a few other folks staying in the neighboring apartments and we enjoyed the communal BBQ. While there were other guests staying in the neighboring apartments, it was always quiet and we felt we had enough privacy. There are restaurants close by and several beaches to choose from that are only a 5 minute drive by car. We'd recommend staying here with no hesitation.

One of the most unique spots I’ve ever stayed at. Located on one of the best yet not populated beaches of Costa Rica. When visiting this beautiful beach house Just remember not to miss the sunsets. Where ever you are make it back and watch the sunset whilst soaking in the la piscinas right at the beach. We were lucky to have the full moon right behind us at the same time. Unreal! Overall we had a great stay. Sibylle was super sweet and easily reachable.
