Their place was real easy to find and just beside the main highway. Upon arrival their staff helped with our luggage. Their place is really an easy commute to and from the surrounding tourist attractions, even for backpackers. Parking is also not a problem. They have a bar where you can chill and have drinks and sing karaoke. They also have an elevated dining area that is big enough for parties or big groups or big families on vacation. Their food is really good with big servings and super budget-friendly. The dining area is surrounded by various fruit trees and plants making it cool/breezy during meals. The room we stayed in, Primrose, was big, private and had it's own patio. Really nice for couples to vacay in. The hosts were very friendly, professional and "maasikaso". They were also very conversational and helpful with suggestions on places to go to and how to get there. They had their own spring water that me and my husband liked so much. Really great place to stay and return to.

Great place very clean and roomy , catch a pedal cab right outside the gate or walk if you able. I was having some physical troubles with my leg & back and decide to extend our stay another three weeks to rest, beside for the normal comfortable feeling in the house it is also a great help with mobility issues with a down stairs shower , the stairs are shallow risers with wide steps and hand rails are very secure steel railings that easily support my weight safely the upstairs shower is also large enough to put a chair in when required. I had a fantastic stay at Jon’s Airbnb! The location is perfect—just a short distance from downtown, yet in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, making it ideal for both relaxation and work. The WiFi was excellent, which was a huge plus for working remotely. The space felt very private, making it easy to unwind after a busy day. It’s also a great value for the price! If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and affordable place to stay, I highly recommend Jon’s Airbnb. Would definitely book again!

We stayed in Nancys Fishpond Cabin for 2 nights. The cabin is exactly like the photos, such a beautiful location. Nancy and Walter are so so lovely, they showed us herbs in their garden, offered us fruit, they accommodated us in everest possible. They are two of the kindest people you will meet. The outside area is beautiful overlooking the fishpond, a great spot for yoga, relaxing, reading or working! The bed is super comfy, all the essentials like towels and in the kitchen are provided. We loved our stay there and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much Brian, Nancy and Walter!

I've been a regular at JMCL Residences since 2023, and I can confidently say it's a comfortable, cozy, and budget-friendly gem in Tacloban. After a long drive from work, I love unwinding here. Initially, I planned to spend my weekends by the beach, but JMCL Residences offers the same relaxing vibe without the need to leave the city. Plus, I can binge-watch Netflix, play mobile games, and enjoy some me-time. The staff and owners are incredibly accommodating, making me feel right at home. And, they've recently added a coffee shop on premises - a must-try is their homemade tocino and matcha cake! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Tacloban!

Very affordable for a beach front property and near enough to the Allen ferry port to make it convenient. It’s Pet friendly as well so we were allowed to stay there with our dog during our travels from Siargao to Manila. The car parking is on the local village road a 2 minute walk to the entrance of the property, so we felt a bit uncomfortable leaving all our packed stuff in the car Overnight. But there was no issue. ☺️ The bathroom is very small and just had a cold water hose for a shower, and the sink tap didn’t work during our overnight stay. But it was clean enough and functional enough. Aircon worked well. The beach looked very beautiful in the morning even on a rainy day. And the hosts were very responsive to help us check in late with the help of their caretaker Ronnel. We think this place is worth the affordable price.

Liezel and her husband where really helpful and we felt instantly welcome! Liezel even got up early to prepare breakfast for us although we had to get to the boat really really early (And the breakfast was fantastic!) I loved that their place was slightly off the busy main road and therefore quiet (but still easy to reach). I definetly recommend staying there!

rey was the greatest host very helpful makes you feel like it's your home away from home. a great way to experience the province life with western comfort. House and rooms very clean with lots of space. rey is very helpful if you need help with a car rental or perhaps a ride from ormoc. rey was very responsive with me messaging just remember the time difference if like me from the other side of the world 12 hours. book today and enjoy your stay we will be back again for sure.

I had a lovely stay at this property! The overall experience was great, and I truly appreciated the flexible check-in process, which made my arrival smooth and hassle-free. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. I was particularly happy to find complimentary bottled water available, as I was quite thirsty during my stay. It's those little touches that make a big difference! The host was very responsive and accommodating, which added to the positive experience. However, I do wish there was an elevator, as carrying my heavy luggage up to the second floor was a bit challenging. It would also be nice if there was an easier way to enter the building without having to ring the bell, especially when returning late at night. I felt like I was bothering the staff each time. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place!

This place was just perfect for us and for sure if we ever need to come back in the area we’ll chose to stay here again ! The room is wide, clean and the outside is simply perfect (feels just like in the province with the city really close) and peaceful. Special mention to the pillows that were just amazing! Moreover Ann and her son are very accommodating and you feel at home very quick. Would have loved to stay longer! Thank you for your kindness.
