Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Samar Island

Pleasantly surprised and very much impressed with Kendi's place in Balangiga! The amenities, its location and the place as a whole was nothing less than superb. Perfect for me (who partly grew up in Balangiga) and my family as our Christmas vacation half-way place from home. Will definitely be back for our future home visits!

I always stay here when in Tacloban, the house is exactly as described. Boyet and his family living next door are great people and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Christine’s private room was absolutely perfect—very clean, neat, and thoughtfully designed for Airbnb guests. The private entrance added extra convenience, and the complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch that most hosts don’t offer! Christine and her husband were incredibly kind, generous, and helpful, making my stay the best I’ve had in Tacloban so far. The location is also ideal, being very close to the airport. I highly recommend their place and will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Tacloban. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My second stay at Rea's penthouse and again it was just perfect for my needs. Check in was a breeze with Rea greeting me personally and the new key lock is a great addition. The place was cleaned to a high standard on arrival. Very tastefully furnished and decorated and Rea has thought of all the little touches to make staying here so comfortable. The air-con whisper quiet, great comfy beds and plenty of towels and pillows. This place has so much more than other rentals in the area. Rea has listened to recent feedback and now has installed an all in one toaster/ grill/ oven, which is a great addition to the kitchen, now I can have toast and grilled sandwiches any time! Just perfect for us Europeans ! I can highly recommend Rea's place and will definitely be rebookng in the near future Thanks Rea.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The self check-in and check-out process was seamless, thanks to their clear instructions. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Robinsons and many great restaurants, making it very convenient. The place itself was pristine, clean, and tidy, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the Netflix subscription, which we truly enjoyed, especially with the rainy weather. The whole place had such a relaxing vibe that we didn’t mind staying in. Despite the bad weather affecting our itinerary, the hosts were kind enough to allow us to extend our stay until the evening since our flight was later in the day. Their flexibility and hospitality truly made a difference. Highly recommended, and we’d love to stay here again!
