Conclusion in advance: The mountain hut near Zell am See is an absolute gem of AirBnB. Location: The cabin is secluded and private on a pasture-covered mountain with private driveway. It is always quiet without hikers or the like passing the cabin. You really have your peace and quiet here! Accommodation: Everything you need is there! Super clean and modern! A big plus is the sauna, which is heated with firewood. If you want, you can use the wooden grill for cooking, which gives the whole thing an even more intense cabin flair. Arrival and departure: If you want to live on a mountain hut, you have to be aware that the cabin is forcibly located on a mountain. The path to the cabin is gravel and is a small challenge on the first ascent and descent. But the second time we had no more problems. A PS stronger/ higher car is certainly an advantage.

This was one of our favorite places ever! Christine is lovely, just like her place. It's nice, cozy, comfortable, equipped with everything you'd need and the cleanest place I've ever seen. It's in a beautiful area, quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the company of the cats and the chickens. :) Thank you for everything!

Very clean and cute accomodation. Hosts are friendly and helpful, they are well prepared with everything and even surprised us with a welcome note. The environment is also calm and beautiful. I would definitely come back. :)

We loved staying with Claudia and Christian. The flat is spacious and neat and located in a dreamy locations in the mountains. We got to pet and feed the animals and Claudia helped us with our itinerary and activities.

Communication with Shirley was always friendly and uncomplicated. She always responded quickly and sympathetically to messages even during our stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy. When we arrived we were just irritated whether it was the right apartment (we didn't know if she had another one), as the kitchen/living room furnishings were different from the photos but Shirley explained to us that they had just bought a new kitchen and couch. The dishwasher is now unfortunately very unfavorably placed on the beam so that you can't really get the door open and can only load and unload it with difficulty but at least there was a dishwasher. It just doesn't have any other place. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless. There were even game consoles, board/card games, children's books and Lego. The kitchen also had everything you needed. The ski room is great and you can hang the shoes and gloves on heating rods :) Ski lift on foot 15 min.

The apartment is simply beautiful and well equipped – it really has everything you need. We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. The view is out of this world! Christiane welcomed us warmly and was always available and helpful if we needed anything. I highly recommend this apartment!

Spacious flat in a great location. Close proximity to ski resorts - closest to Zell am See and Kaprun but we mainly went to Saalbach which is 30-40min away by car. The balcony overlooking the mountains was great for relaxing after skiing. Shop within a short distance. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place. The view was stunning, and the location near the river was perfect. The kids absolutely loved the area with the chickens and rabbits—it added a special touch to our stay. The kids' area was well-designed, and the finishing throughout the property was super deluxe. I highly recommend this place for families!

We spent a wonderful week in the chalet and were completely satisfied! The house was very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped – we didn't miss anything. Rosa & Phillip are very friendly and helpful, we felt immediately welcome. The surroundings are fantastic: rural, quiet and ideal for relaxing. Special highlights were the private sauna and the infrared sauna, which provided absolute moments of well-being, as well as the beautiful pool. The proximity to the cows and the farm life up close were also a great experience – especially for our daughter. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend the accommodation!♡

Helga and Josef are super nice, kind and very helpful. The place is spotless clean. I love how clean it is. And it’s really big for 2 people. The surroundings are so peaceful. Its worth to stay. We planned to extend unfortunately somebody has booked the next day. I would highly recommend the place of Helga and Josef, you can see the Salzburg Mountain from the window and door. We were a group of 12 - the only small downside was a fact where were only 3 independent toilets; otherwise everything was exceptional, the best part of it the ability to cook on wooden stove.

The days in Lisa's stay have been a wonder. The surroundings and views from the house are a dream. The beds are very comfortable and for 4 people it is great. For the children it has been great and an amazing experience to be able to be with the rabbits they have there and other animals. At nights it is a pleasure to see the stars with the scarce light pollution there is. In short, a dream home.

We had a wonderful week in the apartment at Evelin's. The apartment is modern, stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail – you immediately feel comfortable. We particularly liked the comfortable bed, the well-equipped kitchen and the excellent coffee machine. The freestanding bathtub in the room was a nice surprise! The location is quiet and idyllic on a farm – perfect for switching off. Evelin and her family are very warm, hospitable and helpful. There were even fresh eggs from the farm. The proximity to Salzburg is ideal, and excursions to the surrounding area are also very worthwhile. We enjoyed the time here all around and would come back any time.

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

The house is beautifully located with views of the mountains and the wonderful farm with cows, mini pigs, rabbits, sheep and the like is right next door. In the morning you can have rolls brought in front of the door (luxury!), the apartment is cozy and when the sun is shining you can make yourself comfortable on the large terrace. It was just all around fine and the Hosts very likeable! Thanks, we'll be back!
