The host was great, he was very polite and was ready to adapt to our needs. The house was very cozy and beautiful. The location is great if you are planing to travel by car otherwise it is quite remote.

The cabin is beautifully and modernly furnished without losing its rustic charm. Highlights include, of course, the hot tube and the sauna with fantastic views. There was almost nothing missing in terms of amenities. There are enough towels of different sizes and the kitchen and bathrooms were already equipped with standard consumables.( Shampoo, aluminum foil, baking paper, garbage bags, etc. and even spices) Kerstin's communication was quick and straightforward by phone, even though they were on vacation themselves. When we arrived, the tiled stove was already heated, the small wine shelf filled with a selection of good wines and a schnappy meal was on the table to welcome you. All in all, a nice holiday despite the bad weather. I'd love to come back.

This charming cabin log house is the perfect winter getaway. It’s warm and cozy, with a stunning view and peaceful surroundings. Located near the entrance of hiking trails, it’s ideal for nature lovers. The real highlight, though, is the host, Teresa. She’s incredibly kind and helpful, making sure you have everything you need. Whether you’re looking for a snug winter escape or a serene nature retreat, this cabin has it all. Highly recommend!

It’s a homey, clean and sweet place. Despite the freezing weather we were never cold thanks to the floor heating. The quiet was also real nice after a day of sightseeing. I recommend staying here.

There was a little problem with communication, the Host was not very talkative, there were disposable slippers that were not thrown away when entering the house.But the house is still very atmospheric, and you can order food delivery.

We had a super nice time at David's cabin, were able to hike directly from the log cabin . Nearby by car 5 minutes a ski lift for the skiers are ideal. Beautiful view of the mountains and nice neighborhood. We recovered very well. This is a beautiful old wooden house in the mountains with plenty of space around it and a great view. When you enter you go back in time. The wood-fired stove is fantastic and outside is a nice fire pit where you can also barbecue. Drinking water is straight from the mountains. Matthias is a friendly host who helps you well in terms of the details of the house and the area. We had a very nice week at this special place. The area is a paradise for hikers and climbing routes are nearby between 30-60 min drive by car.

Ute is a great hostess, always there for us, quickly accessible and very warm. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. The place is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The complex is very well maintained, the farm with the animals is a highlight. I'm sure we'll be back, see you soon Ute!

We spent two beautiful weeks of vacation in the Halthäusel in the summer. The house is very idyllic and rarely walkers or hikers pass by. Goats graze in the higher meadow and a few minutes' walk away you can visit extremely curious alpacas. Overall, the house gives a rustic-uristic impression and requires a certain adaptability of the residents. We got along well with the two available hotplates and the low water pressure, which requires some patience when using the shower facility. The friendly and cheerful co-host was always very responsive and would certainly have helped us promptly with any issues or questions. The cleanliness was fine according to the rustic character of the property. Conclusion: If you can cope with slightly simpler conditions, you can have a nice and special vacation here.
