Fresh air, no crowds, nice local trails. Local wineries and restaurants are tasty. Wifi is great. TV with Roku indoors; bluetooth speakers on the deck, and cows in the pasture. We are 15 degrees cooler than Palm Springs in the summer. Our back area stays at around 70 degrees in the winter. This was a cattleman's bunkhouse at the turn of the century and is located on the San Jacinto/Santa Rosa National Monument. It borders with the San Bernardino National Forest and is across the highway from hiking and equestrian trails.
