Cottage vacation rentals in Salthouse

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

Lovely few days staying in South Creake. I visit Norfolk often for the beautiful scenery, villages and coast and this stay did not disappoint. A quintessential cottage in a quiet village but spacious and modern enough for 4 of us. We loved the hot tub too! About 20 mins drive from Wells and Brancaster beaches, lovely restaurants such as The White Horse at Brancaster. Clean and well equipped stylish cobbled cottage.

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Highly recommend for a peaceful break. Watching the stars in the hot tub with an owl flying over was particularly magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Thatch Cottage. An excellent base from which to explore the area. Liz proved a very attentive host and was concerned that our stay was the best we could have. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We appreciated the 'gift basket' - a nice touch that makes the visitor feel welcome. What was especially important for us was the 'dog safe' garden. Often host describe their rental as 'dog friendly' but they haven't provided a secure garden area. Liz made sure that her garden was well fenced off and we felt very happy that our dog was able to be free and safe. Thank you Liz.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and fresh, it had everything you needed. Sitting outside, looking over the allotments was so relaxing and the people were so friendly and welcoming. Plenty of places to take the dogs. Quick and easy walk to the beach and plenty of places to eat. Hannah sent some helpful information the day before we left and was quick to answer any questions I had. There was also plenty of information in the cottage. We had a lovely time in a lovely place

The place was perfect we loved it and will definitely be staying again. Was nice and close to Cromer which is why we chose it. Our toddler loved the huge space in the garden to run free

My wife and I had a mini bread of 4 days in the cottage. The cottage was delightful, it was well equipped and the Victoriana theme was great. Liz left a lovely welcome pack which was there to greet us on our late arrival. Liz also checked in on us later to make sure everything was in order. The cottage is very well placed in the village close to the village church and within walking distance of the beach. We had lovely stay and would not hesitate to have a return trip.

Just got back from a lovely stay at Pebble Cottage. Lovely location. Not far from Wells Next the Sea, where we enjoyed a scorching 31 degrees Saturday. Pebble Cottage is beautiful. So much bigger than we expected!! Everything has been done to such a high specification! Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Absolutely loved Bijou Cottage, the location was perfect for us. The setting was quiet, calm and chilled. The cottage was spotless and lovely quality feel about the place. Feel thoroughly refreshed after our break there. Would not hesitate to recommend and we will be returning.

Superb in every aspect . We felt at ease totally relaxed the garden area is beautifully maintained with lovely seating just so so relaxing . Attention to detail with the added little extras made our romantic break perfect . Gil & Phil have a beautiful haven they made us feel valued & nothing was too much trouble . The massages were incredible … highly recommend all organised by Gil . Our Breakfast hamper was absolutely fantastic all fresh local produce we loved it . We will RETURN xx

Perfect cottage for 2 people in a quiet location but still only a 5 minute walk to the beach and high street.

We have just had a long weekend at Diane and Colin's cottage and it was wonderful. The setting is beautiful; rural, quiet and peaceful, but also close to amenities and the coast. Inside the cottage is just perfect for a getaway with very warm and welcoming decor and furnishings; a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Diane and Colin are the perfect hosts, they have thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again ourselves. Thanks for a great few days Diane and Colin (and of course Merlin 🐕).

From start to finish, it was a lovely stay at Lilys cottage. The cottage is just right for me as I was a solo traveler, but would be just perfect for a couple. Great host’s lovely and friendly. The location was ideal, a short walk from the village center, great pubs and market square. There was a free car park across the road. All in all a fantastic place to stay!

Beautiful house in stunning location. Perfect for walks and wildlife watching! Lovely , private garden and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend staying here - really high quality accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication prior to our stay was great and also received photos to help us find the cottage on the day which was very helpful. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing break and we managed to make the most of the area despite the weather. Hope to book again in the future to explore more, thank you!

Corner Cottage was more comfortable and well furnished than the photos had suggested and felt very private and inviting. Carole couldn't have been more welcoming and there can't be a prettier seaside village than Salthouse.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nina is super friendly and the cottage is in a very location for a lovely holiday. We were three adults for part of the time and as a cottage for four, it is quite small. It’s great for a couple. Lovely beds and very clean. Good garden for sitting out. Would recommend.

Denise's cottage was beautiful, overlooking the garden that was visited by deer & rabbits whilst we stayed. Short walk to the beach and small local cafe. It took less than 10min to drive to Cromer which was great. Denise provided a travel cot & high chair for our little one which helped free up space in the car! The only complaint would be that we found the downstairs bed to be a bit brutal on the back, the upstairs mattress was a lot firmer though. Would definitely stay again and recommend for a small family/ couple.
