This little quirky cabin nestled on top of the Mendip Hills is the PERFECT getaway from the everyday hussle and bustle. We built this ourselves and are very proud. The cabin is situated on our Family ran farm and at the top end of our Campsite. The Oakhill Inn is a 10 min walk from the cabin and cook some amazing 5* food including take away pizzas and burgers. With hardly any streetlights around you can enjoy the stars and peace and quiet.

The Bullpen was a great location for a weekend away with a friend and our children. Beautifully decorated with luxurious touches and very comfortable. The kitchen was well provisioned, we cooked a meal and enjoyed a movie night on the huge comfy sofa with big TV screen. The weather was wild but we managed a walk up to the White Horse (drove from our accomodation).

We loved our stay at Russel’s property. The shepherds hut was very cosy, very clean, and had everything we needed. The view from the property was amazing and we loved using the BBQ, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace. Russel and Louise were friendly and welcoming and gave us suggestions of places to visit in the area. We cycled to the accommodation and found that there were lots of lovely cycle routes nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

we stayed here for the weekend and the bell tent was so cosey and welcoming! the views were incredible and the set up had everything we needed to just turn up and enjoy our weekend of calm quality time with a disconnect from the world for a few days. the setting of the location is beautiful and Bridget and Mark have done an amazing job at ensuring everything you could need to have a calm relaxing time has been provided. a clean easy access toilet from the tent, an amazing kitchen for preparing food and cuppas, and the outdoor shower was a quality touch and experience like no other! the views are amazing. the Hosts were very helpful with any needs or questions and provided lots of assistance with walks and places to visit locally. A 5 star weekend for sure! host and accommodation! highly recommend!
