Vacation rentals in Saltburn-by-the-Sea

We normally stay in Staithes but decided to change to Robin Hoods Bay and we weren't dissapointed. Fantastic location easy to find with lovely walks and a good bus service. Anyone visiting needs a level of fitness around the coast and the same for Burton House limbering down from the top floor but all adds to the adventure. Thoughtful welcome pack would recommend and we will return

We had a really lovely stay at this characterful home — it’s full of charm and personality, which made it feel really special. The added bonus was how well-equipped it was for children, with lots of thoughtful amenities that made our trip much easier as a family. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the host was incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay The only small observation is that it could benefit from a slightly deeper clean, as we did notice some dust in places. That said, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time — just something to be aware of for future guests. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return

We had a great weekend staying in Wykeham Cottage with our friends and puppy, the gorgeous Labrador boys on the yard were so good with him and our hosts were friendly, easygoing and most of all so welcoming. The property is very cosy and has everything you would need for a stay away from home. Cleaned to a high standard to complement the high quality furniture and decor. We will definitely be back!

This place was more than perfect for us 4: we wanted to stay in Robins Hood bay for a mini break and this cottage was even more than we expected, cosier than the photos, fantastic atmosphere by the sea and walks near by. We forgot our toiletries but found what we needed in the bathroom so even better. Cottage was in excellent condition. We want to come back in winter as per children’s request!

A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Beautiful shepherds hut in a beautiful location. Lots of lovely birds in the grounds, and even got visited by a small herd of deer. Jay and Callum are brilliant hosts, very responsive and helpful, and have put lots of nice little touches on the accommodation that make all the difference. Will definitely be staying again!

My adult son and I stayed for three nights in Brian’s property . The apartment is immaculate and just as described with high quality fixtures and fittings. Beds, linen and pillows particularly stand out. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, frequent bus service from Whitby to surrounding villages and towns as well as train station within walking distance- if you want a different method of transport. For those driving to Whitby the free parking is a real bonus ( residents permit provided with rental property) . If you get the chance to book this place- take it- highly recommend.

Outstanding. Iconic building, enormous inside, sea views from most windows and you could hear the waves crashing at night! Walking distance to everything and amazing roof terrace and balcony. Will definitely book again!

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!
