Welcome to Le Playras, a Shangri-la in the Pyrenees, a secret nest formed by a group of traditional and authentic mountain shepherd huts sitting at 1.100m altitude! A paradise for mountain hikers and nature lovers. The trail around the Biros valley (tour du Biros) passes in front of the door. You can hike right away from home and get on foot onto a network of trails connecting to the GR.10 and the Spanish border. Jump in cold waterfalls and streams or go for mushroom or blueberry picking.

Chalet au coeur des montagnes.

Relax in the wilderness with views of the mountain peaks (Mont Vallier 2800 m). The village, facing south, is at an altitude of 1000 m. A furnished chalet (15 m2) will welcome you with its simple, noble and clean comfort in a pleasant flowery garden. The bathroom is right in the small cottage next door. Paid massages available. Balacet is a starting point for hikes. It is accessible by car year-round. 15 minutes from Castillon (shops) and 30 minutes from Saint Girons.

You will have a complete accommodation with a terrace overlooking our beautiful valley where you can enjoy the sunset while dining. This accommodation is an extension of our house, completely independent and not overlooked. The silence is particularly appreciated. You can discover our beautiful environment with hikes that will provide you with beautiful walks.

Le Playras, a little piece of heaven!

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

Charming studio in the heart of the Ariege

A charming, studio flat in the heart of the Pyrenees in the beautiful village of Arrout. A light and airy room in a 18th century barn conversion with a newly fitted kitchen. You have your own entrance and a private bathroom . French windows open onto a little patio and garden and views of the woods and there are beautiful views of the mountains (and snow) from the garden and village. We live next door in the main house. The "La Borde" cottage is an old barn typical of the Ariégeoise Pyrenees located at the entrance to the village of Antras. It has a sunny location and a magnificent view of the mountains facing the Maubermé. In front of the cottage you will have a small terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue to fully enjoy the countryside setting. Access to the cottage is via a small pedestrian path (20 meters from the road).
