Casa Sirena is 600m from Beznar lake. The Valle de Lecrin or ‘The valley of happiness’ is an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounding Beznar lake. The Valley is half way between Granada and the Costa Tropical. Lanjaron, the gateway to the Alpujarra, is a ten minute drive. One can explore Granada in the morning and be on the Costa Tropical by siesta time. Both are twenty five minutes drive away from Beznar. The Sierra Navada ski resort is a fifty minute drive.

Elli's house is beautiful- spotless, well-equipped, with nice modern and quirky furniture and a lovely upper terrace with a sunny sea view. It was a beautiful spot to read and enjoy a drink. Elli left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, and sent someone to check us in personally ( we'd been wary of simply emailing passport copies to someone we hadn't met) even though we arrived very late - both much appreciated. All-in-all, highly recommended. The neighbourhood is a little quiet/bland but it's a short walk ( 10-15 mins) to the village and beach. Otherwise you'll need a car or bike to reach other attractions and beauty spots.

We had a wonderful one-night stay in this beautiful apartment in Granada when visiting the Alhambra. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the historic fortress —absolutely staggering, both day and night. The apartment itself was stylish, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. We had a fantastic meal at Tomas’s. Overall, a perfect spot to soak in the magic of Granada if you are visiting the Alhambra. Highly recommend!

The apartment corresponds to the description and is a great base to explore Granada on foot. The pellet stove helped us get through low temperatures and it was very cozy. The parking spaces in the area are very popular, but we had one right outside the front door. Juan Luis was always easy to reach by message and kindly helped us with all questions. I would come back!

This is a beautiful house set above the village centre in a peaceful area of private villas. The views are fabulous - especially the sunrise and sunsets. The house is detached and set in a lovely garden. There is space to park one car. The main terrace has the sun from early morning to evening and has sun-loungers, a large table and a covered veranda (another dining table and comfortable sofa). There is a smaller lower terrace with pool (closed for winter). The kitchen is well-equipped, the lounge has a large sofa and chairs. There is a double and twin bedrooms plus shower room/toilet off the lounge. At the other end of the house, off the kitchen is a room with a small table, another bathroom and double bedroom. It would be ideal for two couples who want to be together but private. It was about 10-15 minutes walk down to the centre and 15-20 back (Competa is a steep village). Our host was very fast in responding to queries and helpful. We had a great 10 days here - very relaxing.

We stayed in the beautiful spacious house for the entire month of January, equipped with every comfort and met us fine. Chosen for January because it is not yet so hot in Spain and chosen for its location in the mountains because of the peace and nature. The house is located just outside the village of Periana with a beautiful unobstructed view towards the reservoir and in the distance the sea. Have taken beautiful mountain walks directly in the area or visited small villages by car or made wonderful beach walks on the coast in Torre del Mar that can be reached from Periana in half an hour. Behind the house was a spacious garden with beach chairs and barbecue and was lockable so our little dog could not walk away and play wonderfully, on the front floor you could also sit and enjoy the sunshine. The house was sparkling clean but because of the winter months it was fresh, so the wood-burning stove or electric had to be on. Andrés was a great host for us.

This is the best Airbnb we have had the pleasure of staying in. Situated in a quiet area, short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. It had an amazing private, spacious terrace which was furnished to a very high standard. This apartment had everything you needed, not one negative thing about it. It was safe, secure and spotlessly clean throughout. Thank you Ramon/wife, who were great hosts. We loved the restaurants that you recommended especially La Viuda, excellent food, service and location! We have had a fantastic month here and would love to return! Thank you so much. An absolutely excellent apartment in a peaceful location. Almost new and in outstanding condition, as well as well-equipped! Features include air conditioning in every room, a washing machine, and a dishwasher! The garage space is a great bonus! Sea view from the balcony was also nice. Our hosts Rebecka and Michel were easy to reach and answered initial questions as bquickly. All those things together making it very easy to highly recommend 😁👍
