Books and travel guides in English and French are available. The space is very cozy and welcoming, with a lot of natural light and decorative additions from our own many travels. You will find everything you need in the fully-fitted kitchen, which is equipped with new stainless steel appliances; dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. However, with so many great restaurants, bars and cafes on your doorstep, you may find that you prefer to let somebody else do the hard work! Saucisse de Toulouse, (a type of sausage), Cassoulet (a bean and pork stew), and foie gras, a delicacy mainly made in the Midi-Pyrénées are all options! Washer and dryer are in the apartment. This chic apartment is only steps away from Les Allées Jean Jaurès in downtown Toulouse, with many nearby restaurants and cafes. The train and metro stations are a short walk away, while a VélôToulouse station is located at the end of the street. The apartment is located within minutes walking distance from both the train station Toulouse Matabiau and the Jean Jaurès metro station (conveniently the only station for lines A and B). A bus stop for the airport shuttle is also within minutes walk from the apartment.

Come and discover the Lauragais and the surroundings between the Canal du Midi and the Toulouse region on one side about 50 minutes away and on the other Carcassonne with its superb city. Living room/kitchen on the ground floor then upstairs a transition room with a modular bed for 2 people, and a bedroom with bathroom and sink.

This magnificent Gite is in reality an old sheepfold, completely renovated with all modern comforts! Right in the middle of the fields, calm will be there! You will enjoy the gentle way of life of the south and the magnificent colors of Lauragais. The cottage is as pleasant in summer as in winter, in fact the enormous stone walls are an excellent barrier against the heat in summer. And in winter you will enjoy long evenings by the fire. Many activities in the area possible!
