The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

This is a perfect place for Alaska Vacation offers spectacular views of cook inlet and beach. Very nice, safe and peaceful location. Kenai beach and Kenai river fishing area are in 9 minutes drive. 9 minutes drive to Arby's and McDonald's. 11 minutes from Kenai Airport. 12 Minutes to Walmart and Safeway Shopping Centers.

This home is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, five minutes south of Soldotna. It's 70 miles to Homer and an hour and a half to Seward. It's close to the Kenai and Kasilof rivers. There's plenty of parking for a boat, snowmobile or trailer. There's moose and caribou in the area and the back yard has many varieties of birds. There are beautiful gardens front and back and lawns.
