Townhome vacation rentals in Sakyo Ward

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is conveniently located near a bus station (2mins) and a subway station (15mins). The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Instructions were very clear and everything in the house was labeled to prevent any confusion. Something to consider if travelling with older people is the steep steps that are required to go from the sleeping area to the bathroom. The host Minnie was very friendly and quick to respond! We appreciated the recommendations and added amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Minnie was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage past checkout. Would love to stay here again!

My cousin and their family had an enjoyable stay. The house was clean, stylish, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Tomoko San was very responsive and friendly, making the check-in process quite smooth and answering any questions. I would recommend it to all my friends.

This house is lovely awesome and perfectly clean. Our stay was wonderful and more worth the price. The private onsen inside the tiny Japanese garden is beautiful. The location is very quiet, near the river and less 5 minutes by walk from the station and konbini. Everything you need is provided inside the house, so you don’t have to worry about

Wow, a great little house in a quiet area. We've been so happy to stay at Mayumi's place, where everything was just fine. And a host who was sweet and communicative. Definitely a huge recommendation!

This was by far our favorite place to stay in all of Japan! The traditional style of the home was an amazing experience. I will never get over this airbnb! Not far from the bus and had amazing views of the temple! 😇😇😇

This is a really cool place to stay if visiting Kyoto, it’s a historic Machiya. Quiet residential neighborhood, which in itself is has some great hidden gems, like the local Ramen shop around the corner and sushi restauraunt also a block or two away that was fantastic. More importantly, Koichi is a wonderful host and amazing person to meet whose family has been in Kyoto for ~400 years. Staying here and listening to rain patter on the outside tin roof was magical. Emmachi station is a ten minute walk, and also there are several bus stops right around the corner that will get you to basically anywhere in Kyoto for 2 dollars. If you do stay here take some time to walk around the surrounding with neighborhood, there’s plenty to see and find that’s off the beaten path.

Have never stayed in an Airbnb this unique in architecture. It’s 2 beautiful houses joined by a lovely garden and a walkway. One over 100 years old, and absolutely stunning, and the other a modern one with all amenities. And top it all a wonderful host, so kind and communicative.

The house was phenomenal and really clean. Before we checked in, they gave us free drinks and sweats as a welcoming gesture. The staff were 10/10 and very polite. They gave us a map of the important places to visit. Cant be happier with the service.

If I could give the host 6 stars, I would. We were travelling with 3 young children. The host is very responsive and answered our enquiries promptly. Our requests to leave our luggages at the unit before check in time and pick up later after check out time were also fulfilled and those were life-savers. There are Family mart, 7-eleven and many eateries nearby. Within walking distance from Jr station and some bus stations. The place was quite at night and we had peaceful sleep. We will definitely choose this unit again if we were to come to Kyoto again.

Yukari’s listing was just like the pictures. Every appliance worked great, it was very clean, and it’s a very beautiful style.

We were very happy with our stay. Apartment was spacious for the two of us. High water pressure, instant hot water, good AC, adequate kitchen utensils and basic seasonings. Host was responsive and helpful. Having bed linens changed every few days was a nice bonus.

Our stay at saito family's place was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was even better than described - clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed.

This beautiful home is situated in a peaceful and cute neighbourhood. We could sleep with open windows. The alleys and little shops are worthwhile exploring. The walls are thin but the neighbourhood is very quiet. It is a short walk from the Nakazakicho metro station which gets you everywhere you need to go. The kitchen utensils are perfect if you want to cook. I appreciated the outdoor hanging space to dry clothes and towels. Was perfect for our family of four.

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends from all over the world. 20 of us stayed and we had plenty of space. We felt right at home. Very convenient location, near Kyoto station but far enough to be in a quiet local area, with small bars and sento! Thank you for being a great host!

This place is great. It’s large, has a balcony, a washing machine, and two bedrooms. What’s nice is that you are removed from the main crowded areas but you are still close. I liked it. Five stars.

Beautiful Airbnb in a quieter area but with great links into the city center. There's a great Udon noodle place just down the street and a few nice cafes. The home itself is stunning and the boat was always friendly and responsive

Great location, close to the subway and to Dotonburi. Host was very responsive to all requests and the space was great for our group of 7.

A great place to relax after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of the Tokyo cities. Soaking in the tub at the end of a long day exploring and walking was what we looked forward to at the end of each day. The entire place was thoughtfully chosen with guests in mind. A short walk to a few trains too and close by to convenience stores. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great townhouse in a beautiful location! Very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped and couldn’t have been more central to where you want to be. The stream in the back is serene and makes it just that much nicer.
