Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Sakyo Ward

We stayed here for 6 days. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had on our world tour. 12 minute walk to train station. Bath tub was amazing. Huge shower area. Lots of space in living area. Very comfortable beds. Great location. Only nick is the very small kitchen. One stove top with no counter space. But we made it work. Side notes: 1. Do bring an HDMI cable if you plan on connecting your laptop to the tv projector (I use my laptop to stream everything) on the ceiling. 2. Bring tape or something that you can wrap around the exit sign, which is above the door inside the apartment, and which illuminates the whole room at night. No idea why they would put an exit sign inside an apartment.

Yumiko was the best host I have ever had through years of staying in different vacation rental in different countries. She and her husband welcomed us, gave us clear information about how to use the wash machine (very efficient), and helped us to learn Japanese customs. They also went out of their way to help us get an extra bicycle for my 9 year-old, in addition to the two bikes they have, one of them with a child seat. They also offered us their umbrellas when we were about to leave and it was pouring rain, although we didn’t need them. She also offered us snack for the kids and instant noodles, which came in handy when we were too tired to go out. Her house was sparkling clean, comfy, and convenient for us (two adults with two children). The location was very easy to find from subway, and their YouTube video helped too. Convenient stores and restaurants were close by, also a park w playground and railway museum. We biked for three days around the city, it was a lot of fun :-)

Syun’s place was in an amazing location so close to Kyoto Station. There is a 7/11 round the corner. The accommodation was very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely stay here again on visiting Kyoto.

Stayed as a group of three on a family trip. The building, interior and garden are all lovely, and staying here provides quite a unique experience that you can't get from a regular hotel. It's a few minutes away from a Family Mart, and less than a 10-minute walk from Gojo station. The number 5 bus near the station also goes through the central shopping area, and toward many sightseeing spots. Inside there are two separate spaces/tables to spend time together as a group, and the shower and bath feel quite luxurious. The two beds are comfortable, and one person can get the full futon experience in the other room. It's a little close to a main road, but it didn't seem to affect my sleep at night.

Perfect for our family of 3 on a 3 day stop in the city. Clean, well designed, but best part is proximity to gion and great restaurants.

Great place to stay, close to Kyoto station. The fact that it's a short distance to popular neighbourhoods is no problem as there is a direct bus and subway (and Kyoto is great to explore by bike). The accommodation is beautiful in Japanese style, and easy to find with the proper instructions. The authentic bathroom is a great touch.

The Homann Concept Home is beautiful! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay! From the fluffy duvet to the jacuzzi bathtub, the customized modern home was very comfortable and was a great experience. The host was responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this place to others!

Eric’s home had a great setup for large groups, the floor mattresses were more comfortable than I was expecting and it was a unique experience getting to experience a home with traditional Japanese architecture. Would definitely stay here again

By Japan's standards, Kyoto House is palatial. The outdoor tub and garden are as luxe as it gets. And it's a genuine 80-year-old property to boot. We got a really great deal and even though it was still expensive, was worth every penny.

Location is a bit far from sites but good that it’s not too crowded. Lots of space and two separate shower/bath facilities and toilets is nice with a family. The place was accurately described and takeshi was a great host. He gave a lot of helpful recommendations and responded quickly to questions.

Location is walkable to Ashiharabashi Station. Parking space is large enough for a mini van. Interior felt brand new and modern. A well equited house. It has 2 toilets but only 1 bath room.

Great place to stay, you truly feel like a king in that castle. Everything is decorated very well and made for a great impression

The location of the B&B is very eye-catching, there are convenience stores and fresh food supermarkets nearby, the Host is very nice!!All processes will be given detailed text answers and food recommendations!They also sent snacks!The tableware is complete and the room is clean and tidy.The surrounding environment of the house is also very quiet and peaceful, highly recommended!

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

Great accommodation away from the city. We arrived with a rental car, and there was a parking spot right at the doorstep. Everything was clean. Ideal for relaxing taking in the beautiful surroundings. We hope to come back! :)

We were traveling with 2 couples and had a car. After 2 weeks of busy cities and small guesthouses, we wanted a home we could cook dinner, linger at the dinner table, sit outside and play board games. We found that surprisingly hard to find in Japan. This home was modern, comfortable and has it all to hang out as a family or small group of friends. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear it at all. But it did let us sit outside and play mellow music and enjoy the evenings. Osam is a host in an old school way, checking in regularly to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to offer assistance. The location is relatively close to Nara Park, which is worth a day. It’s a long 1 hour drive to either Kyoto or Osaka, but we spent half days at both and were grateful to go “home” to Osam’s place at the end of the day. Worth staying 3-4 nights to relax and explore this part of Japan.
