Masako è stata perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista, gentilissima e sempre disponibile, se dovessimo tornare in Giappone la contatteremo sicuramente. La casa è molto comoda, pulita e spaziosa. Consigliatissima. Vorrei poter mettere più stelle.

Very beautiful home. Extremely comfortable. Very close to train station, made transportation very easy. It was very quiet surroundings.

The hosts were super welcoming, accommodating and responsive to all of our needs and concerns. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay and the location was very convenient especially for our first time.

This is a really cute and quiet area. Much needed for all the hectic travel days. Saki helped accommodate us and was very responsive when trying to figure out addresses when forwarding the luggage from our previous location. This is a must checkout spot!

Thanks for a wonderful stay! We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our family of 6, very comfortable, spacious and well stocked with everything we could need. The futon beds were extremely comfortable and lots of wardrobe space. The location was very near to a bus stop with a fantastic Nepalese restaurant nearby. A short bus ride to the station and only 20 minutes into the centre. Jasmin was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions. We would highly recommend this property.

Eine unvergessliche Erfahrung abseits der Stadt Zunächst einmal: Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war außergewöhnlich einfach und schnell. So eine herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft erlebt man nur selten – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb von Kyoto – was wir bei der Buchung nicht ganz realisiert hatten. Für uns mit drei Kindern waren Tagesausflüge nach Kyoto etwas aufwändiger als gedacht. Aber: Wir haben unseren Tag vor Ort in vollen Zügen genossen – und dieser Tag bleibt unvergesslich. Gerade diese ländliche Umgebung hat uns einen ganz besonderen Blick auf Japan ermöglicht. Wer Japan wirklich erleben möchte, sollte unbedingt auch abseits der Großstädte reisen. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and clean house! The neighborhood is quiet and decent, making it a great option if you're driving and exploring in Kyoto. The host was very helpful—they speak excellent English and Chinese, which made the check-in process smooth and easy. The house itself is spacious, with two floors, three bedrooms, and one bathroom. It was perfect for us, and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings.

The place is excellent. It's in a lovely neighborhood with lots of places to go, good restaurants, and shops around. The look and feel made the trip feel special. I highly recommend it.

Ken was an absolutely fantastic host — from the moment we booked, he provided super detailed instructions and was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, both before and during our stay. His communication made everything so easy and stress-free. The apartment itself is in an unbeatable location, right in the middle of a lively tourist area with tons of great food, drinks, and convenient transportation options just steps away. It was the perfect home base for exploring Kyoto. Staying at Ken’s place gave us a real feel for modern Japanese apartment living — a unique and authentic experience that we really appreciated. If you’re looking to experience what it’s like to live like a local in Japan, this is a great choice. That said, if you’re looking for a 5-star hotel or a traditional ryokan, this may not be the right fit — but for us, it was exactly what we were hoping for. A beautiful, cozy apartment in the heart of Gion district Kyoto. Location is excellent. We enjoyed seeing geishas and meikos regularly on evening walks just outside the apartment. It was close to hiking trails, many sightseeing destinations, trains, restaurants, etc. In the heart of everything. And yet super quiet, being on 4th floor with no neighbors (above or on sides) in an alley. Only downside is that the kitchen is very efficient, single burner, no counter space, etc. But you should be mostly eating out anyway. Also there is a red light at night in the main room from the fire alarm—we had to cover it with a jacket to sleep. Not sure what other reviewers thought was deceptive—it was as I expected, and honestly the view is phenomenal. Yes there is a parking lot but you can hardly see it and beyond that are the beautiful Kyoto hills and tops of temples peaking out. Tatami room was wonderfully cozy. Furniture and linens were quality. Stayed super warm inside. We miss it already!!

Everything was fine. They were clear and responsive when you needed it. The place was nice and peaceful—a good location between the two main stations.

Fantastic experience start to finish. The location and unit are exactly as advertised. Right in the heart of the city, but still remarkably peaceful. The patio overlooking the river is worth the price of admission on its own. Ken is the most responsive, and friendly host I've ever interacted with. He went out of his way to make my stay easy and convenient. Extremely flexible check-in and check-out. 10/10, can't say enough good things.

Depending on your style of travel, Kyoto can be an overwhelming place. Seibido Inn felt like a safe house away from the touristy madness, yet still close enough to access the major destinations easily. Some of my favorite parts of my stay were the quiet walks home.

A lovely authentic Japanese home. Well designed with all of the essentials. A nice quiet neighborhood close to amenities and the city center.

这次和好友一起去关西玩，在小黛家住了三个晚上，真的很棒，典雅的日式榻榻米别墅，内部装饰的也很漂亮，住在里面非常有代入感，别墅位处京都富人区，环境非常好，虽然不在市中心但配套设施很好，地铁和便利店都是极短的步行范围内。然后，小黛姐人真的超级好！很热心，入住之前不厌其烦的在微信上回答我各种问题，到京都当天更是开车来山科站接我们，然后给我们详细的介绍京都应该怎么玩，怎么坐车，还让我们碰到问题随时微信上联系她，最后一晚还拿出珍藏的红酒招待我们，给我的感觉不是房东，而是多年的好朋友在日本招待我。

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

建物、お庭、設備など、随所にオーナー様のお上品で素敵なお人柄が表れていて、大変美しいお宿でした。 ご説明やご対応もとても丁寧で親切でした。 金木犀の香りが漂う絵画のようなお庭でのBBQと焚き火が楽しくて格別でした。ご用意いただいた朝食もすごく美味しくて、最初から最後まで全員が大満足な旅ができました。 機会があれば、是非また訪ねたいと思います。

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......
