Very friendly welcome, a charming, very well-equipped house right on the Dordogne, quiet location, close to Saint Emilion, good starting point for excursions in the area, highly recommended!

Very welcoming and available host... Pascale is very pleasant and finds solutions to everything... The nearby guingette on foot made us have a great evening... The supermarket right next to the house is very convenient, the people of the village are very nice. Not having parking is not a problem, there are many places in the street

The house matched the description. Jean-Baptiste was very quick in responding to our questions. The setting and location are fantastic. The swimming pool with the vineyards surrounding the house are an absolute added value.

Highly recommend staying at The Painters refuge. Beautiful home in a great location close to Saint Emilion. Corinne the host was there to greet us upon arrival and explained everything we needed to know about the home and surrounding area. Any questions we had, Corinne would respond extremely promptly. The home was unique and spotless. We had a lovely, relaxing, 5 night stay
