House vacation rentals in Saint-Savinien

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Vaste et belle maison charentaise avec piscine et barbecue aux nombreux atouts , salle de jeux, 5 chambres spacieuses, salle de séjour agréable pour 12 personnes. Extérieurs sécurisés pour 3 véhicules.

Séjour au calme à la campagne avec pour musique de fond, le chant de la rivière. Idéal pour les séjours en grande tribu. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, de surcroit avec gout. Il ne manque rien et Tony et sa conjointe sont très sympathiques, disponibles et à l'écoute. Les canoés permettent une balade découverte de l'environnement pour tous les âges, en sécurité.

Un gite très joli et fonctionnel sur une île idyllique. "Une parenthèse enchantée". Aline est une hôtesse disponible et prévenante.

Très beau logement, conforme à la description et même au delà de nos attentes concernant le jardin qui est immense, très bien aménagé et parfaitement entretenu. La piscine couverte à été appréciée au vu de la météo mitigée. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis! Je recommande sans hésitation.

We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Excellent endroit pour se connecter à la nature. Le mot silence prend tout son sens puisqu'il n'est perturbé que par le chant des oiseaux

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

Une très belle rencontre et un très beau séjour avec un accès direct à une partie calme du marais même en ce week-end de l'ascension. Tout fut parfait, le logement est très bien équipé et le jardin magnifique. Merci pour tout !

Gîte moderne, confortable, fonctionnel et décoré avec soin. Les deux chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses et équipées de rangements. Le gîte ne manque de rien. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et l’attention de Melanie et son conjoint à avoir allumé la clim avant notre arrivée un jour de grande canicule. On reviendra.

le logement de Jenifer a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût. les équipements sont aussi qualitatifs et nombreux qu une maison principale: sèche cheveux, machine à laver, four, bouilloire, bref tout y est. vous accédez à la plage à 2 minutes en vélo à 5 minutes à pied, le bonheur.

Charmante maison dans un très bel environnement. Jannique est une hôte très sympathique. À l'écoute et réactive, ses explications étaient claires, notre séjour s'est donc parfaitement déroulé. La maison possède un superbe jardin entièrement clôturé, idéal pour vos enfants ou vos animaux de de compagnie. Venez vous ressourcez sans hésiter!

Nadine ist eine sehr nette, unaufdringliche Gastgeberin. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Haus, angrenzend ein kleiner Garten mit Terrasse, auf der anderen Hausseite ein grüner Hof mit schattenspendendem Baum, sowohl geeignet als Abstellplatz für das Auto wie auch als Aufenthaltsbereich. St. Pierre mit seiner schönen Markthalle war in der Vorsaison sehr angenehm , zum Bummeln und Shoppen wie auch mit guter Gastronomie. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Haus auch sehr gerne weiter!

Lieu paisible, terrasse super agréable devant le jardin et les prés à chevaux ! Gîte superbement décoré, tout beau et tout confort ! La région du Saintonge est très belle et chouette à découvrir ! Nous nous sommes bien amusés et régalés ! Top séjour pour nous, trop court, on a prévu de revenir !
