Our large property is steeped in tradition initially housing staff for the Chateau and formally then a hotel. Our property is in a peaceful location with countryside garden views, yet just a few minutes' walk to two restaurants/ bars & five minutes’ walk to the amenities of historical Le Dorat main square with its bars, restaurants, shops and train station giving access to Poitiers, Limoges & Paris. The pretty courtyard & large garden are home to fruit trees. With sun/ shade spots & wildlife.

Typically french cottage in a great location. Pretty little private courtyard garden outside. Kitchen had everything we needed and there was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. Eleanor was really helpful and when we had a problem with the washing machine she came straight away and sorted it out. Thank you Eleanor for a lovely relaxing stay.
