We came as a family with 4 kids under 6 and loved our stay - it’s so well set up for families, and a great location for exploring the marais poitevin, La Rochelle and the coast. Highly recommend!

Excellent smiling welcome, friendly and attentive from Anne Sophie. Our accommodation, a charming market garden house tastefully restored, offered us calm and comfort. Saint Sigismond is an extremely peaceful little village. Nothing but moments of sweet tranquility to contemplate the dance of the swallows above the large garden, to capture in the evening the hooting of an owl, to nibble a few grains of the vine that runs along the facade... Anyone looking for proximity to nature will find something to satisfy them here. The Autize pier, a three-minute walk from the house, allows you to take beautiful exotic and informative walks amidst very rich fauna and flora. It is also a restaurant offering simple meals to enjoy in a relaxing and friendly setting.
