Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Rustic, secluded 4 bedroom farmhouse retreat.

Enjoy total relaxation at this secluded, rustic farmhouse, in 11 acres of tranquil grounds, including meadow and woodland, with a very large gated seasonal swimming pool (fully refurbished winter 2021). A wealth of pursuits are accessible a short drive away, including swimming, canoeing & fishing on the Ceze river, walking, cycling, horse-riding & wine tasting. Local produce, wine & basic provisions are available in two nearby villages. Numerous markets & restaurants are within easy reach.

Mazet Magnan. Rustic luxury in Provence

Mazet Magnan (Silkworm Cottage) is an old stone silk workers cottage which has been renovated to the highest standard. It offers parking, air conditioning, wifi and a fully equipped kitchen. Ideally situated in a lively town. Perfectly positioned to explore the wineries, markets, roman sites, lavender and pretty villages that Provence has to offer. You can relax in the pretty and spacious garden or use it as a base from which to pursue more active pastimes such as walking and cycling.

L'Ôlive - pretty cottage for 4 - Cévennes d'Ardèche

Located in Southern Ardèche, in a natural and quiet environment, this ecologically designed cottage can accommodate 4 people. Cozy and carefully decorated, it includes 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds. Its kitchen is equipped (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, MALONGO espresso coffee maker). The large pool is shared with the 3 other cottages in this small vacation estate. A crib and high chair on request.

The lucky escape

In the heart of the forest, in a 7000 m2 fenced property, 10 minutes from the highway exits of the cities of Orange and Bollène, you will find calm and serenity. Hikers, cyclists, epicureans, nature lovers, all you have to do is go through the gate to access your favorite activities. The accommodation is fully equipped: - Towels and sheets - Nespresso Machine - Teapot - Toaster - Smart TV - Terrace barbecue The pool is accessible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
