Cottage vacation rentals in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat

A true haven of peace! In the middle of nature and sheep! Cheerful! The amenities were perfect!

We loved our stay, the cottage is very comfortable. The terrace and garden are really great for breakfast with the view of the valley which is beautiful. The sunset in the sun loungers… A beach by the river is a 15-minute walk away. Our dogs also enjoyed nearby walks. In short, the ideal stay.

Sounds good. Very nice, clean and tidy little house. Matches what was advertised. Very responsive and pleasant host, excellent communication! We had a lovely stay.

Travel with friends with our kids. The place was spotless, very relaxing, and refreshing. The + 2 pools and hot tub (small downside for the screen that made its own). Attention provide salt, pepper, soap etc because contrary to what is indicated it is not available... Very responsive hosts before and during the stay. We just wish the guidelines were that the guidelines weren't as much guidance. We understand that there are rules to follow but we had the impression on several occasions of being treated like children and it's a bit of a shame because we are also there to enjoy the stay while knowing how to respect the place. I highly recommend this listing!

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Great stay. Isabelle and her husband are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us places to visit the region and its surroundings. The accommodation is well placed in a small quiet and relaxing village. Thank you for the small touches on our arrival. See you soon perhaps for mushroom picking.

Quiet house in a bucolic environment. The accommodation is spacious, clean, pleasant, true to the description. The exteriors are superb, very large expanses of grass, very pleasant outdoor terrace, with dining table and garden furniture, superb spa, swimming pool present but not used (April). The hot tub was a real plus to enjoy the outdoors in mid-season. Late check-in with a key lockbox was possible.

A very nice house for organizing a stay in the countryside, the place is quiet and located at the start of beautiful walks. The hostess is welcoming and accommodating.

Beautiful home in a wooded quiet area. Beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog really enjoyed it here and so did we! Louise is very sweet to animals and friendly and hospitable to people. Upon arrival there were snacks for our dog and a surprise for us! Top location!

Quiet privacy in the countryside - home is a renovated building adjacent to Darren's house so you share the same property yet feel complete privacy with a fenced backyard. Darren was always accessible and responsive when needed. Would book again! Scott & Shaniah

A great weekend with friends at Stéphane's. You feel very good in the house and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Everything is very clean and the house is well equipped. No problem staying with children. We'll be happy to go back!

This is certainly a home from home with lots of thoughtful touches. Unfortunately my friend managed to break the door handle within hours of arriving and they were so lovely about it, and fixed it straight away. Very nice people with a gîte that is comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. Thank you.

We were able to spend a family weekend in a mill that met our expectations despite exceptionally rainy weather for the season. The comfort and generous interior space were able to replace the lack of sun. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. Only the kitchen seems a little tight for about fifteen people, especially in bad weather, but the presence of the 2 large refrigerators was appreciated. It was a beautiful time . Monique G

Excellent weekend despite the weather. Zoé's cottage is very warm, it feels extremely good. The hosting was very nice and the entrance to the accommodation dazzling 🤩 I don't see any negative points, everything is perfect from start to finish, the equipment, the decoration, the setting and the welcome basket! We enjoyed an incredibly relaxing few days in Alice's gite. The photos do not do justice to this place - the renovation has been done to a very high standard, and the peace and tranquility of the location is wonderful. Alice is a generous host, and the farm and surrounding area are great for exploring. Thanks Alice, we will be back!

The cottage was very nice, the house remains cool without air conditioning, it's a real advantage in summer. The hosts are adorable, they had left us little touches when we arrived (drink, fresh bread and eggs from their chicken), they were charming throughout the stay and even installed a safety gate on the stairs for our 2.5-year-old son. They are very discreet and sharing the pool is no problem. Ron and Belinda are perfect hosts!

We had such a good time at Clare’s place! It’s in a great location close to a small town, but more importantly, the grounds are fabulous! The lake is very peaceful, and the fish are lovely to watch. The pool is also excellent, and very clean! We enjoyed swimming every day, and eating in the outdoor dining area next to the pool every evening. The house is also fully equipped with everything you need for relaxing evenings. This is a really good place to go for a relaxing break.

What a find!!! Perfect house in a beautiful and relaxing location, easy to get to plenty of places, not that you will want to as you'll want to spend every moment in the huge garden and pool. Having your own pool what a find!! Could rave about this place all day and Phil and Cindi are so lovely and welcoming with loads of local reccomendations. When we are next in the Dordogne, guess where we will be booking. Our two labs loved it too.

Vera and Clark are hosts as we like to have them every time. Kind and considerate. We feel that their customers' satisfaction comes first. The cottage is brand new and extremely comfortable. The setting is of great tranquility and our stay was in every way ideal. We'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Rosemarie's. The setting is beautiful! The park and the small pond are peaceful places to recharge your batteries in Nature! Even though the sun wasn't there during the week we chose, I still enjoyed the pool. The reception and cleanliness of the place are impeccable. We'll be happy to go back!!! 😊

We had an excellent stay at Henry’s. The hosts were very hospitable and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The property has over a hectare of beautiful grounds full of fruit trees and a swimming pool that the hosts are happy for you to walk around in. Highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful break in a French hamlet in gorgeous natural surroundings
