All of the furniture & bedding is new, making it as comfortable as it is cute! ML features one bed, with a loft & 2nd bedroom upstairs. You'll enjoy a kitchen & W/D..making it feel like home. A peaceful setting in the country, only a mile off Historic Route 66. There are outdoor adventures to experience here such as hiking, fishing, canoeing. There are also some local wineries to enjoy. Whatever you do during the day, you can plan on coming back to a cozy cabin and enjoy your barbeque grill, firepit and the quiet sounds of nature. There is no TV which was intentional. It's a perfect couples getaway place to unwind and relax, enjoy the peacefulness! (We do not allow pets).

Price of $135 per night is based on up to 2 people; additional people ages 8 & older $25 extra per person per night. *Hot tub & Pool:we reserve the right to close the hot tub or pool for any mechanical issues that may occur and that is beyond our control. Any type of parties must be pre-approved. We now offer 5 mile float trips! **float trip is additional cost.

Ellen's Log Cabin is an authentic log cabin, located in a private rural setting. The beautiful Upper Meramec River, a rock bottom, spring fed river, is located one mile from the cabin. Ellen’s is a 3 story cabin. The main floor has your living room with Roku TV and internet. Full kitchen with all your cooking and dining needs. Master suite is on the upper story with en suite. Lower level has 2 bedrooms and bathroom plus family room. There is an additional charge for guest over two.

Our peaceful cabin is out in the country yet very close to town. Just 2 miles off interstate 44. Close to shopping, restaurants, Fort Leonard-wood and Missouri S&T college campus. Traveling nurses are always welcome, just 2 miles from phelps County Medical Center! We also offer three RV spots with water and electricity if you’re traveling with someone who has an RV. If you’re traveling with horses, there is a horse hotel on premise, offering stalls or Paddock for layovers.
