Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Cosy home in a charming village close to uzes and lovely swimming spots. Helpful and welcoming hosts.

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

Nous avons passé un week-end formidable au sein de votre logement. Un petit havre de paix, où le temps s'écoule au rythme de la nature environnante ! Le gîte est constitué essentiellement de bois, ce qui lui donne un charme incroyable ! Nous sommes baigné dans la rivière du Gardon située à quelques kilomètres à peine du gîte ou de nombreux spots sont disponibles ! Fiona nous a également recommandé un restaurant "le Patache", nous vous recommandons à notre tour de cocher cette merveille ! C'était un super week-end ! Encore merci

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Très beau séjour entre ami-e-s chez Jean-Pierre, nous avons ADORÉ le lieu ! Un écrin de verdure perdu au milieu de nulle part (au bout d’une petite route étroite qui monte bien pendant 15 min, assurant un beau dépaysement à la clé). Terrasse sublime et jardin ombragé. Le mas est quasi la seule habitation du hameau ! Comme indiqué dans l’annonce, bien prévoir les courses avant car pas de commerces à proximité. Jean-Pierre est très gentil, disponible et arrangeant. Ce fut un réel plaisir, merci encore !

La maison de Cynthia et Mario située au coeur du village, est magnifique. L'esprit ancien a été conservé et la décoration est de très bon goût. La piscine intérieure peut être chauffée moyennant supplément (raisonnable), nous en avons abondamment profité. L'accueil a été sympathique et chaleureux. Cynthia a toujours été réactive et a pu nous fournir des informations utiles sur la région. On s'est tout de suite senti bien dans cette immense maison de caractère, nous avions tellement d'espace pour nous deux! Merci à Cynthia et Mario.

Super gîte décoré avec beaucoup de goût et dans un environnement magnifique. Henny et Chris sont des hôtes adorables et très sympathiques. Nous avons adoré la semaine que nous y avons passé et nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir.

Séjour parfait ! Le logement était impeccable et le domaine magnifique. Tout est fait pour y passer un excellent moment. L’hôte est très accueillante et disponible. Je repars ravie et recommande sans hésitation !

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Pierrick ! Il a été super sympa, accueillant et vraiment attentionné tout au long du séjour. Le logement était conforme à l’annonce et on s’y est senti tout de suite à l’aise. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Le logement proposé par Marie jouit d’un emplacement de choix, au cœur du centre historique, dans un endroit calme. l'appartement a énormément de charme, La décoration est très soignée, très bien équipée, et très propre. parking gratuit" le refuge" à quelques minutes à pied. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cette belle adresse.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Deux nuits parfaites. Literie super confortable et gîte très cosy, douillet, beau et original. Nous avons pu profiter des bons produits laissés à notre attention dans le frigo, des viennoiseries du matin et de la corbeille de fruits. Notre fille ravie de sa partie nuit à l’étage et notre chien de son petit extérieur clos. En deux nuits pas trop eu le temps de profiter pleinement du sauna et du jacuzzi. Accueil chaleureux de Anthony Pierre à l’arrivée comme au départ. Merci beaucoup c’était un super week-end.

Beautiful place. Very authentic, decorated with great taste. Great for a large family or families. It was our first time in the region, and I wish I had researched it a bit more before going because you have to know where to go. Some villages and places are stunning, and some other areas you have to avoid. Overall I would really recommend.

We hebben een super fijne week gehad in dit prachtige vakantiehuis. We werden welkom geheten door de eigenaren met de kachel al aan en wat lekkers op tafel. De eigenaren wonen naast het vakantieverblijf en ze geven je een warm welkom. Ook tijdens ons verblijf was er vriendelijk contact. Het huis is prachtig ingericht met veel details. Echt een droomhuis met een grote tuin en uitzicht. Het is heel rustig gelegen en je voelt je er echt thuis. Het dorpje Labeaume kun je te voet bezoeken, is een mooie wandeling vanuit het huis. We zijn ook een dag naar Avignon geweest, wel een eindje rijden, maar de moeite waard. Het klimpark Indy Park is ook aanrader. De bakker en een kleine supermarkt zitten dichtbij, in Ruoms vind je een grote supermarkt. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Lieve Laure en Benoït, dank voor de super fijne week die we in jullie vakantiehuis mochten doorbrengen!

What an amazing place! It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of nature, the setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by trees, birdsong, and beautiful views in every direction. Everything was perfect! The house, the view, the nature, the region, the host… all of us were very extremely happy to stay at Olivier’s place.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée. Les extérieurs sont plus qu’agréables avec un coin repas extérieur et un BBQ. De nombreux transats autour de la grande piscine. C’est un vrai havre de paix. Enfin la maison est à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village, c’est réel plus.

Nous avons adoré la maison, propre, lumineuse et joliment décorée. Le village est charmant et tous les gens rencontrés ont ete tres sympathique. Nous conseillons vivement. De plus la région est magnifique ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
