Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Saint George Island

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. Although outside downtown Apalachicola, it was just a short drive, and the location was very peaceful. The decor of the cottage was a highlight for us - we could tell that the owners took great care in decorating and we loved the nautical and beachy theme. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine in the early evening. Sandra kept in touch with us - letting us know the unit was available for check-in early and making sure everything was okay during our stay. We love the Apalachicola and St. George Island area, and this was a lovely base from which to explore it.

we came for spring break and met up with cousins (Philly and Indiana). Port St Joe was the perfect spot for relaxing days directly on the beach, a spacious and clean home to host our reunion and was even accommodating of our 1 year old. We have zero complaints and would definitely rent again.

We had such a relaxing weekend—just what we all needed! The home is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly situated by the bay. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful when I thought we had an issue (which turned out to be user error!). Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a lovely setting! We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Blanca. We had every possible amenity waiting for us, the home was in perfect condition, clean and well appointed. I had inquired with Lourdes about golf cart rentals and she recommended a local company that was excellent - reasonably priced and provided great service. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Beds were very comfortable and our preteeen girls loved the loft area upstairs, their own private space complete with cute spiral staircase. Adorable decor, gorgeous outdoor spaces, easy access to beautiful beaches, it was a perfect vacation. We can’t wait to return!

Kate, Allison, and Rusty were all amazing to work with!!! I can't say enough great things about them. The home was perfect for us. We loved the space, enjoyed riding the golf cart, and loved the location of the property. I hope to visit the property many more times.

The home was absolutely amazing and, while we didn't get to use them, the beach items were a fantastic perk to know about. It is in a brand new neighborhood that GPS had some issues with but it was not hard to find at all. Ashleigh was very responsive and allowed us to check in early.

We loved this house. It had everything we could hope for- and a pool too! The house is set back from the beach the perfect distance, and it was so comfortable for our family. I know I’ll be coming back with more family next time. The kitchen had everything you could hope for, there were lots of pool/beach toys and chairs, and there were tons of board games available for our party. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was incredible in the shower.

Beautiful spacious home right across the street from beach access. Great location with Exxon and dollar general (groceries) and food trucks all within a block away. Came with all the beach gear you could need. Do bring your own toiletries. Pictures and description didn’t do this beach house justice. It’s gorgeous and each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom except for the one on main level with kitchen isn’t attached to bedroom.

This place was amazing! Perfect for our extended family vacation with a total of 11 people (7 adults and 4 kids). The place was clean and beautiful. Having the pool right out the back door was ideal. Super short walk down the private boardwalk to the beach that felt secluded. Definitely worth the cost to heat the pool in March. Only minor complaints are the finicky door alarm for the pool, minimal throw blankets available around the couch, and no provided baby gear (pack and play/baby gate/high chair). We will likely be back! Marissa is very responsive and helpful with all questions and the check in/ check out process is clear. You are about 15 mins from the state park at the end of the cape and 15 minutes from downtown port saint joe. The complex has private pickle ball courts and there is a nice park right across the street that you can ride bikes to. Great little area to vacation and great place to stay!

We loved our trip to Summer Camp. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is amazing if you are looking for a sense of seclusion and relaxation. The screened back porch and private backyard space are wonderful. The beach is natural and seems like a private oasis. The kids enjoyed the shallow water and finding a variety of marine life. St. George Island is beautiful and close by as well as the aquarium and several cute small towns. Angelo’s Seafood is a wonderful place for delicious seafood and steaks. Wonderful vacation. Will definitely return.

What a wonderful stay for a family of 5! The golf cart made accessing the pool and beach so easy! We will be back for sure!

Carrie’s place was beautiful and spotless! There was anything and everything available that you could possibly need…lots of beach towels, beach chairs, floats, nice beach cart, and the house was stocked with anything you need! The beach was less than a 5 minute walk away. The house felt private because it was surrounded by trees and shrubs. Carrie’s local recommendations were spot on and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed every moment. It was a great space for our large family. We enjoyed lounging on both decks and relaxing by the pool. Great WiFi, my son worked “from home” on the back deck. Short walk to the beach and a short drive to lots of restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home!

Amazing experience at this beach house! We just celebrated my wife's 60th birthday here, and I honestly couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect spot. You know how sometimes owners just say all the right things in their listing? Well, these folks actually deliver – and then some. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail was welcoming and helpful. Our little group of four fit so comfortably in the house the location is pure gold! We could walk everywhere – grabbed drinks at Paddy D's, enjoyed dinner at The Blue Parriot, and never once had to worry about who was driving. But the best part? The beach access was literally across the street, and here's the kicker – we were just far enough from the main public entrance that our stretch of beach felt wonderfully secluded. Every morning, it felt like our own private paradise. I've booked quite a few places through Airbnb over the years, but this one? Hands down, the best rental experience we've ever had.

The house was great. Also loved the tropical five minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean, quiet, very private, no bright lights anywhere and so comfortable. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. The house was also very well supplied. Thank you for a great stay.

Wendy's home is beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is friendly, clean, and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Communication with Wendy was always timely. We made the very short drive to Windmark's shops, heated pool, and ocean in the fun golf cart. The provided beach chairs and toys are in great condition. Bruno's has good salads, pizza, & wings and is close to the pool and ocean. The View, an oceanfront restaurant in Windmark, recently closed for business. Hopefully a new restaurant will open soon because the location is great. Wendy was unaware The View had closed and suggested we try The White Marlin and Shipwreck Raw Bar for seafood. The White Marlin is oceanfront and upscale. The Shipwreck is casual. We enjoyed both! We also enjoyed shopping in the quaint town of Apalachicola and exploring the beautiful state park on St. George Island. We were very pleased with the area, the home, and the host! Thank you!

The Port of St. Joe is absolutely beautiful. The home was perfectly nestled in an ideal location, offering easy access to various beach experiences, nearby stores, and restaurants. Despite a potential tropical storm that turned into a hurricane moving through South Florida during our stay, Vacasa rental was exceptional, communicating with us daily to ensure our safety and providing precautions to protect both us and the home. I would definitely book again.

We took a last minute trip to the area and were able to get a couple days in this property. Everything was as described, it was a nice, clean, quiet home with good beach access. the beach was very beautiful with lots of shells and things to see, very few people out while we were there. there isn't a lot of things around but a general store and a fantastic restaurant very near by. Port St. Joe's, just about a 20 minute drive away, has many little shops and restaurants, and was a nice place to walk around and explore.

I had forgotten my phone inside the house and forgot the code, My husband had to text and ask Mary for the code and instantly she texted us back, which was so helpful. The house also had a very beachy vibe to it that we enjoyed.

This is a great place to stay! A very short walk to the beach & in a quiet neighborhood. Great dog friendly place with a large yard for them to run around! All of the essentials were present and a lot of useful things—stocked kitchen utensils, dinnerware, cookware. Coffee pot, toaster, ice trays. Lots of towels and bedding! Plenty of space to hang out—living room and screened in porch. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The fenced in backyard was very private and nice to have for our dog and also had a nice sitting area on the patio. The house was extremely clean and in excellent condition and the kitchen was well equipped with anything we could possibly need. There were also beach chairs, beach supplies, and a beach cart available for us. We used the beach cart which was very much appreciated. Daniel was a great host, we only have positive things to say about our stay!

This adorable little cottage was literally feet from the beach and less than 500 feet from the trading post where there was coffee and groceries and everything I needed. I didn’t have to get in the car to get anything I wanted unless I absolutely wanted to go farther away. It was perfect and I can’t wait to come back again.

We loved staying here! Having clean place to stay and bring our dog was worth every penny! We will be staying here hopefully every year 🩷

A little off the well beaten path , but so worth the little extra drive. Beautiful location beaches two hundred yards away. Swamps wildlife and birds directly behind the house. Outdoor grill for family hangouts. It felt like a wonderful home. We were comfortable clean and enjoyed our time there so much. If i'm able to again I will stay there and reserve this spot eight months ahead of time. The forgotten. Coast is absolutely wonderful
