House vacation rentals in Saint George Island

This was the most beautiful and serene home I’ve EVER rented on this platform. Kristie’s place had everything you could possibly need during your stay and I love to smell a clean house🥰 The house was spotless! Bed linen and towels were ample and CLEAN! You will see wildlife which is normal in the area and we loved the dolphins that appeared in the lake. Kayaks available and my Marine got a great workout 😂The resort style pool did not disappoint and she also had floats. With the installed fans and canopy you will stay cool. I’m already looking to rebook! If you’re interested in true relaxation, look no further and book now😍🎉🎉

The house was very convenient to alot of places and also fishing along shoreline is possible. Even with just some wading. The pool was nice as well. Our dogs also felt right at home.

The home was beautiful and the location was perfect the neighborhood was clean and everyone was friendly the beach was awesome very clean and so many shells the host thought of everything you would possibly need to make a vacation perfect from the golf cart to foil trays for the griddle grill which was amazing I am definitely buying my husband one

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

This place is a gem! The house has everything you need including pool, hot tub, large yard, a great dock for fishing and watching the dolphins or the sunset. The location is perfect; just far enough away from everything to be quiet and private but close enough for a trip to downtown Appalachicola for shopping and dining, St. George Island for the beach, or state forests for hiking. Sara was a great host, easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time! A bunch of teachers looking for rest and relaxation with our pups! We loved the calm private beach in the residence and the usage of the golf cart made it so easy to get around! The pool was amazing! There are beautiful beaches with waves close by but having a peaceful calm beach not packed with people was right up our alley! The beds were super comfortable and we could not have had a better stay! We hope to be back for a longer time next year!

My family are returned guest. This home feels like our home away from home! We love the area because it is quiet, not overly crowded, and not commercialized! Beautiful beach that allows you to have your pets vacation with you! You're allowed to have golf carts on the beach which is a great feature. Saved us numerous trips back and forth to set up for our beach day.

We just got back from our stay & words can’t describe how PERFECT this place was. We have stayed at quite a few beach homes & this has by far been our favorite. The house and ocean is absolutely gorgeous. The hosts have provided everything you may need and MORE. My 2 young boys enjoyed the body boards, jumbo noodles, nets for catching crabs, and so much more they provided. They even provided life jackets which put me more at ease for my kids safety. The golf cart was a nice extra as well, we drove down the road to the nature reserve to see wildlife. The house was clean and had anything you may need during your stay. We went out each day and ate at a different restaurant and enjoyed all the locals! The host was very polite and responsive. We give it a 10/10 and plan to be back soon :)

Ben’s place was clean and exactly as described. He had every appliances/kitchen item you could imagine. The dock provides convenient quick access to the river/ocean. LOVE that it had water and a boardwalk straight from the home. Bathrooms were spacious with plenty of hot water for 7 showers back to back! Washer/dryer were a plus! Love the decor and thoughtfulness of the whole home. Not one thing was overlooked and Ben was accommodating with early checkin and late checkout.

This is our second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first time. It was the perfect place for our family vacation, and we can’t wait to come back!

Caroline was an excellent host who was communicative and provided valuable information. This house is thoughtfully designed and well-appointed for a stay. Lots of great outdoor spaces including a great covered ground floor with shower to knock off sand. We could happily have stayed there for weeks. May not be ideal for those that require more than 2 bedrooms.

If I could give the area around this property more than 5 stars I would. Every person we came in contact with was super friendly. You can tell they love where they live. And if you like seafood it doesn't get any fresher than here. The property was exactly as advertised and we loved it. The beach in front of it had soft white sand which can be hard to find these days. We'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved staying here. Plenty of space for all of us — baby included! The WiFi was in and out a good bit at night time, but during the day it was fine. We would stay here again — hands down!

Sand Toe Inn is a fantastic property that my family stayed at for a week while visiting St. George Island. STI is located on the less populated west end of the island on a quiet street that dead-ends into the bay. It is literally a two minute walk to the bay and a 4 minute golf cart ride to the ocean beach. The house was immaculate clean upon our arrival. It is nicely decorated in the beach theme with top of the line appliances. All 3 bedrooms have king sized beds with large flat screen TVs. The house has excellent WIFI. There are great views of the bay from the two nicely furnished outside decks. Our host Kim was wonderful to work with. She made checking in and out a breeze and was super responsive with any questions we had about the property. Sand Toe Inn is a true gem on the Forgotten Coast. It was one of the best vacations we have had and we hope to return soon. We would definitely recommend staying here!

If you’re looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay! Loved the area, lots of yummy food, peaceful/not crowded beach, plenty of space for all the family. The host was kind and quick to respond plus his guide was helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house and hope to visit again in the future. Lovely vacation for myself, my sister and her child, my elderly mother, and my pup!! Also, the outdoor shower was fantastic in helping keep sand out of the house.

Our family loved this house! It is an excellent rental! Beautiful, large, private, super-clean, beach equipment included (chairs, carts, umbrellas, etc.), big kitchen & eating area, infant highchair & pack-n-play, elevator, short walk to beach, access to community pool & health club, nice beds, just to name a few. Lina, the host, was very helpful and responded very quickly with information and answering questions. We will definitely be renting here again. I highly recommend this rental!

Blue Beach Bliss is a beautiful home in stunning surroundings. The home and pool are exactly as pictured, and everyone in the family commented throughout the week about the beauty and comfort of this home. The beach is an easy walk from the house and was never crowded. We saw lots of dolphins and pelicans! Ray quickly responded to all of my communications both before and during our stay. Our family had a wonderfully relaxing week and we hope to return in the future! Thank you Ray for sharing your home with us!

It was a great stay! Great view of the beach, and it was walking distance of most places on the island. I've stayed in a few of the other places on the island, and I think this place had the most comfortable mattress! Highly recommend, I'd stay there again.

Everything was as advertised, house was very clean. Lots of beach gear included, the walk to the beach wasn't bad, and there's plenty of space, no crowds like PCB. The hot tub was nice, someone came and serviced it the second day we were there, which was appreciated. We did have one issue with a bed frame, but it was handled VERY quickly and professionally! One note, there are a lot of stairs, which is expected of a house on pilings, so if you have elderly people they may have a hard time. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and had a great time! I would recommend this place of a vacation!

Had a great stay at Bucky’s Beachaus! My family all loved it. We originally booked thinking we would bring our dogs since it’s pet friendly there, but ultimately decided to board our dogs. Great owner that was always responsive when we had questions. Thought the place was in amazing shape, very clean, matches the description well and we loved the close proximity to the beach from the house. The folks that stayed the week before us apparently left it a bit of a mess and the house manager that was also cleaning the house was incredibly apologetic for us not being able to get in as early as we wanted. Definitely not her fault and she was working hard to get it ready! We hope to be back and will stay at Buckys again!

My husband and I have been visiting St. George Island with our fur babies for around 20 years and have stayed in many rental houses on the island over the years. This house is, by far, one of the BEST! House was neat and clean and just as described in the listing. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need during your stay. The pool was amazing and was heated to the perfect temperature! The covered area by the pool has great furniture, a great tv and is the perfect shady spot to get in out of the sun! We had dinner out by the pool every night! They also provide all the things you need for heading to the beach for the day! We are already planning to go again in September. Thanks for a great stay! We love everything about SGI!
