Lovers of contemporary art and digital art paintings, get ready to be won over. A true haven of peace and serenity, this apartment subtly blends old-world charm with modern comfort. Our apartment is warm and personalized with a direct view of the castle from the living room. Our decoration is inspired by our many trips and experiences in the major French and International design shows. We also love contemporary art and digital art, so you can enjoy several original works by Parisian artists that we particularly appreciate (J. Stark, ADO...). We can advise you on the sites you won't want to miss, as well as some very good restaurant addresses... in Pau and the surrounding area. You can park in the parking lot of Place de Verdun (150 m from the apartment): €1/half day from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is free outside these hours and on Sundays. The entire apartment is at your disposal. I'm not always in Pau, but my parents will be happy to welcome you and guide you throughout your stay if needed. This home is in a great location, close to the Château de Henri IV and the iconic sites of Pau with its listed buildings. A small farmers' market is held at the foot of the building every Sunday morning. At the foot of the building you will find a bike rental system and free bus stop to travel throughout the city center. You have Pau train station within a 10-minute walk. By car, you can park at the bottom of the building (15 min offered/day), which allows you to unload your suitcases or groceries quietly. Note that this street is blocked every Sunday from 6 am to 2 pm by a local market. Parking on this street is not allowed during this time. 150 m from the apartment is the large Place de Verdun parking lot with 1300 spaces: €1/half-day Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm. It is free outside these hours and on Sundays. Basic products are provided for cooking (condiments, oil, vinegar...) as well as other products for breakfast (coffee, tea, sugar...). Wi-Fi is available. Bed linen, sheets are provided as well as towels. You will also have laundry detergent for the washing machine, which also dries clothes. Bedding information, if there are 2 of you and you want to use the sofa bed, an extra 7.5 euro per night will be paid directly upon arrival. Please let us know so we can prepare this extra bed. In order to facilitate your arrival or to introduce you to some products of our region we offer, as a paid option, to provide you with breakfast on arrival, a regional gift box, or a prestige box. Please let us know if you'd like to take advantage of this option. A descriptive document will be sent to you if you wish. PLEASE NOTE: A tourist tax will be added to the price of your stay at this property, collected by the host on behalf of the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Agglomeration Community and the Pyrénées-Atlantiques Departmental Council. This tax (0.80 euro per person per night) depends on the category of accommodation and the number of people staying there. THIS TAX IS ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE RATE INDICATED. Independent and comfortable guest house with 3 bedrooms (possibility of an additional bedroom on request). You will appreciate the calm atmosphere of the place, and especially nice views on the Pyrénées. The setting is perfect for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. Many rivers nearby will seduce kayakers and fishermen. Many activities and visits to do all around. Near Pau and Lourdes (25km), Spain (1h). Located in nature but only at a few minutes drive from shops, bakeries, supermarkets.

This apartment, ideal for two, is located on the first floor of my wooden house with a balcony that offers a great view of the Pyrenees. Located 20 km south of Pau and 3 km from the village of Lasseube, this attic space offers a retro "kitsch" atmosphere. The outdoor dining area facing the mountains will be appreciated as well as the refreshment in the pool at the end of the day. The proximity of the Jurançon hills and the Ossau valley opens up great opportunities for leisure and hiking.

Two newspapers from "La République" dating from 1966 were found in the fireplace during the works and brought to light.
