House vacation rentals in Saint-Étienne-Vallée-Française

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The workshop is absolutely lovely! Huge windows that make you feel like you are in nature. Bright, cozy, quiet, comfortable, serene and all the amenities. Really cool design. Great hike only 10 minutes away to Les Trois Moulins. Best of all our Yolene, our wonderful and friendly host!

House full of charm and well-equipped, in all respects in accordance with the description. Starting point for various excursions to the Aubrac, the Tarn gorges, the Lozère, etc. Or rest by the pool. Priscille is an extremely responsive host.

Our stay in Suomen was simply wonderful a true hidden gem in the South of France! The accommodation was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. You can really feel the care and love the host has put into every detail. What made it extra special was the peaceful setting surrounded by nature, perfect for unwinding, yet still within easy reach of nearby sights and villages. We had breakfast outside every morning, with a view of rolling hills and the sound of birds all around pure magic. Our host was warm, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy. We felt truly welcomed and at home from the very first moment. We had a great time. There were 9 of us (2 couples and 5 children aged 5 to 16) and the house was perfect for our two families. We enjoyed the beautiful hikes to the Montvert Bridge, Vialas (with donkeys) and around the house. A beautiful home to relax in. Thanks to Muriel and Paul.

We enjoyed our stay at this very clean accommodation, with tasteful decor, and located in an extremely peaceful hamlet within a privileged environment. Our hosts Cyril and Emilie are particularly pleasant and attentive to the well-being of their tenants. Simply perfect stay!

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

A great weekend in the hanging house Everything was perfect! We are in the city but still in a different setting Everything is provided, the layout of the accommodation is great, there is air conditioning and in the kitchen the basic condiments are also provided The accommodation is without shutters and close to the road but night masks as well as earplugs are provided Personally, we weren't bothered by the noise The hosts are responsive and available, we'll be back with pleasure

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails just next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as a cherry on top. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was ready if we needed anything. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

Christelle was a welcoming host and full of good tips for walks and villages to visit nearby. His cottage is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the Cévennes. There's even a hiking trail at the bottom of the cottage, no need to take the car! I recommend

It’s a beautiful house located in a nice little village. The house has two terraces so that you always find sun. It’s very clean and functional while preserving its cosy cottage style. Just perfect. We will come back.

We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...

Getting lost is the best solution to be quiet and calm with nature and the birds. Excellent accommodation and really too quiet, a treat to rejuvenate the mind and body. The sun and really great for the body on the terrace. Perfect, I think I found my medicine.
