House vacation rentals in Saint-Étienne-Vallée-Française

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The Atelier is a truly exceptional place to stay. It is a unique, beautifully styled property in a wonderfully peaceful location. Staying at the Atelier allows you to completely unwind surrounded by nature whilst being close to fantastic places to visit, like Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. The pool was very welcome on a hot day! Yolène is a wonderful, very responsive host, who has created a very special place to stay. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, shops and fêtes when we arrived but completely respected our privacy after that. We would definitely recommend the Atelier to our friends (in fact we have already done so!) and hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

Notre séjour a été parfait du début à la fin. Les lieux sont magnifiques. Le jardin, la piscine, le sauna, le terrain de pétanque et la maison, tout est agréable, propre et bien pensé. La literie est très confortable. Et Sandrine est d'une gentillesse ! Merci encore pour cet accueil et ce superbe séjour.

Maison pleine de charme et bien équipée, en tous points conforme au descriptif. Point de départ vers les excursions variées de l’Aubrac, gorges du Tarn, la Lozère etc…. Ou bien repos au bord de la piscine. Priscille est une hôtesse extrêmement réactive.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille, nous avons été très bien accueillis, magnifique paysage, logement top, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Tout était parfait : l’accueil chaleureux, la propreté impeccable, le confort des lieux… mais surtout la vue à couper le souffle 😍 ! Chaque matin, se réveiller face à ce panorama grandiose était un pur bonheur 🌄. Le calme, la nature, l’air pur… on se sent complètement ressourcé. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé, décoré avec goût, et on sent que tout a été pensé pour le bien-être des voyageurs 🙏. Un immense merci aux hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité 💖. On repart avec des étoiles plein les yeux ✨ et l’envie de revenir très vite !

Our stay in Suomen was simply wonderful a true hidden gem in the South of France! The accommodation was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. You can really feel the care and love the host has put into every detail. What made it extra special was the peaceful setting surrounded by nature, perfect for unwinding, yet still within easy reach of nearby sights and villages. We had breakfast outside every morning, with a view of rolling hills and the sound of birds all around pure magic. Our host was warm, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy. We felt truly welcomed and at home from the very first moment. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, experience the real South of France, and support an incredible host go to Suomen. We’ll definitely be back! Merci beaucoup

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour. Nous étions 9 (2 couples et 5 enfants de 5 à 16 ans) et la maison convenait parfaitement à nos deux familles. Nous avons profité des belles randonnées au pont de Montvert, à Vialas (avec des ânes) et autour de la maison. Une belle maison pour se reposer. Merci à Muriel et à Paul.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce logement très propre , à la décoration soignée, et situé dans un hameau extrêmement paisible au sein d'un environnement privilégié. Nos hôtes Cyril et Emilie sont particulièrement agréables et attentifs au bien-être de leurs locataires. Séjour tout simplement parfait !

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Un super WE dans la maison suspendue Tout etait parfait! Nous sommes en ville mais malgré tout dépaysé Tout est fournis, l'agencement du logement est top, il y a la climatisation et en cuisine les condiments de base sont également fournis Le logement est sans volets et proche de la route mais des masque de nuit ainsi que des boules quies sont fournis Personnellement, nous n'avons pas été gênés par le bruit Les hôtes sont réactifs et disponibles, nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Als je van rust, natuur en vrijheid houdt is deze plek fantastisch. Een prachtige, diverse omgeving met veel wandelroutes zo naast de deur, maar ook verder weg. Wij hebben de regio verkent met de auto en verschillende wandelingen gemaakt met de hond. Maar terug komen was toch telkens een feestje, en kregen dan een warm welkom van Wallace, in een fijn, verzorgd en smaakvol huisje met alles er op en eraan. De sterrennacht vanuit de ligstoel bewonderd en de laatste avond een onweer spektakel als kers op de taart. Haryhanta zorgde op tijd voor de lekkere en verse eitjes en zij stond klaar er als we iets nodig hadden. Een aanrader dus en wij komen graag nog eens verder ontdekken in de Cévennes bij Harryhanta.

Christelle a été une hôte accueillante et pleine de bons conseils pour les balades et villages à visiter aux alentours. Son gîte est un petit coin de paradis au milieu des Cévennes. Il y a même un départ de rando en bas du gîte, pas besoin de prendre la voiture ! Je recommande

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

It’s a beautiful house located in a nice little village. The house has two terraces so that you always find sun. It’s very clean and functional while preserving its cosy cottage style. Just perfect. We will come back.

We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...

We wished we booked more than 2 nights…this place is a gem!! Peaceful and beautiful inside and out. Great kayaking nearby!!!

me perdre la bas et la meilleure solution pour être tranquille au calme avec dames nature et les oiseaux excellent le logement et vraiment trop calme un régal pour ressourcer l'esprit et le corps le soleil et vraiment gegnial pour le corps sur la terrasse parfait je crois que j'ai trouvé mon médicament
